I use Royal purple 5w-30 in the STI, my other WRXs used 5w-30 too.

Evo X stock turbos are oil and water cooled. Most modern turbos are because the water cooling helps reliability.

You can always look to see if there are waterlines going to the turbo.

Well looks like the Genesis uses Mitsu turbos, TD-04, the old 2002 WRX turbos. They were water and oil cooled. Maybe the Sonata uses the Evo X turbo since I am reading it is a twin scroll turbo.

You should find out if you are concerned with gas milage, most likely warming it up and letting it run is just wasting gas. I am betting it's an IHI turbo and it is oil and water cooled.
