just over 3200 miles on it now. I've been riding it around on the street a good bit. suspension is off to get serviced and 20mm kit put in the forks.

Looking for a 70's SOHC CB750 motor and carbs for a little project i've picked up. Doesn't have to be in running condition.

i'm pretty excited for another day on Sunday! It looks like I may not be riding as my forks have yet to be fixed.... that's another story...  However I will still be attending even if I have to just help with the intermediate classroom and go watch some areas on the track, like Brian does sometimes.  Ofcourse if anyone has a bike they would like to be taken out for a "shake down" i'm always game to help

I'm planning on it if I can have my forks fixed by then....

Yeah...sighting lap my a$$ ! ! ! It was a little off putting that the two guys I was with knew it was my first track experience, and they pretty much took off on me ! I was like "really ?!?!?!?!"

Anyways...I believe I've got "the bug" too ! I haven't stopped thinking about my first track day, how I can improve (where I know I can do better), and definitely getting back out there ASAP !!!!!!!

Subisti...I followed you for like two laps, trying to keep up ! You were doing good in my opinion ! I really didn't like having "my baby" out there risking it on track (yes...I love that bike you seen me on !!!). That being said, I'm trying at the moment to score an 07 gsxr 600 (blue/white) to use as a track bike ! So I can keep "The Rocket" as is and pound on "some other bike" instead.

So hopefully for the 23rd I'll be there with another bike. We should get in the same group next time, didn't really get to talk/BS with you at all...

It's expensive to travel the country, yes.  But that isn't a huge deal when you are talking about a top-level pro series.  Running regions would be horrible, that's for the club racing.  A truly top-level series HAS to be national just to be taken seriously.  WERA has been doing it for years and years as a "club" series and with the new developments for next year, will continue to build toward an even more respected pro/am style series.  The manufacturers are going to back whomever can deliver, and right now that's not the AMA... the door has been opened by DMG... and it's clear there are more than a couple looking to push on through.

Does Supercross have that much of a bigger fan base?  Beause that shit is always on TV.

yea, i'd say it's about 10 fold atleast. Just look at even SX compared to the outdoor MX. SX has been promoted extremely well and offers that stadium atmosphere Americans want.

10 round pro series with TV... I'd say its goin to shake some things up. The key is going to be contingency and purses that will make it worthwhile. I have a feelin the manufacturers will get behind Sean and Evelyne and post some coin

Was great seeing another big turn out for the XR class! If you have not watched or been apart of this then you really need to get on one of the rental bikes and experience this. You will be hooked!

yea i was informed this weekend that dunlop no longer produces a 180 tire. it's 190 or 200.  I ran pirelli 190's on the SS built 600 before, a true liter bike slick. the dunlop "190" def. doesn't look like one haha

I was thinking of going on tuesday but while bleeding my brakes I got some fluid on my front tire and have to use the $ to get a new front.

brake clean that ish.  My front got covered in coolant last friday.  Brake cleaned it and wiped it off then hit the track.
