I have just over 2 acres and use a Cub Cadet 54", full throttle all the time. If you don't want any fancy patterns, it takes about an hour and 20 minutes. EDIT - And just a thought, if you will ever need to pull a yard trailer or plow a small amount of snow, or pull a yard roller, etc... tractor > zero turn.
