Bullshit? Yes. But, guess which group of people in a company get to decide if the top execs get paid bonuses? That's right, the top-most execs. Even when board of directors make the call, they are just made up of current or retired CEO's. You have CEO's deciding how much money CEO's get. Now, just how could this system have led to these crazy payouts?
