  1. Is it an RS or Z24, or neither? Any options you can list? Can you verify the mileage? Need anything mechanical?
  2. $150 and meet me somewhere on the East side tomorrow?
  3. Sorry man. But, that's all 3 bad lucks out of the way.
  4. I agree with the frost heave theory. I can see several places where the wall-to-ceiling drywall seams have gotten larger this week.
  5. Wow man, I almost posted the same damn question. About every 15 minutes, there is a noise that reminds me of someone hitting my roof with a mini-sledge. And today at work, my buddy said he went outside late last night looking for the cause of the same issue. These aren't like house-settling noises; they are WAY louder. Thinking ice sheets are cracking. Do you guys have ice on the side of the house where the noises are?
  6. Assorted chocolates and cooked her a fancy dinner.

  8. Staying home with preggo wife.
  9. If you take it easy and learn your limits and the bike, yes. If you know you'll be twisting the throttle full-open every chance you get, probably not. They are great bikes, though.
  10. FYI, Mr. Turbohatch... folks are allowed to post bike and bike parts for sale in the Daily Ride. Love, Ex-Daily Ride Mod.
  11. Tuche, I was not talking about you.
  12. Where at in Columbus? I just had a guy screw me out of a winter beater yesterday, looking for something else.
  13. Hell yeah, I remember that! Good times.
  14. Dude, what most people call a "355" IS a 350 block. There are countless combinations of bores, strokes, machining, parts etc. to turn ANY SBC into almost ANY cubic inch. Some of my best times spent in garages have benn showing "know-it-all" ricers my stock 283 small block. Funny thing is that over the years, that 283 has been everything from a 307 to something north of 390ci. My only point was that the "big secret" engine could be anything from a 13,000 rpm destroked screamer, to a 454ci and above. However, my guess is a steel-headed, street-cammed, 10:1 355. Guess we'll find out in the spring.
  15. The two worst beat-down Z06's I looked at last year were both at DD's. Dirty engine bays, dirty interiors, BALD drag radials, and he would not drop... a penny from the price. "Son, (I am 30), you must not know what a Z06 sells for". I had been looking hard for 3 months at that point, and could probably quote him the asking price of every Z06 in a 3 county radius.
  16. Haha. I would put my old-school small block knowledge up against most folks around. And I will maintain, that from the single engine pic shown, it can be something other than a 350-block-based small block. Having said that, it still strikes me as a 13/14-second 3rd gen.
  17. Actually, there is nothing in that picture that distinguishes that the engine is using a 350 block.
  18. No humor in that at all.
  19. Pics to nurkvinny@yahoo.com , please.
  20. Keeping a long story short - my wife is into her 4th week of strict bedrest (with 7 weeks to go). For those that don't know, this means that besides a daily 15 minute shower and restroom trips, a person is forced to lay flat, not even reclined, completely horizontal. She has developed severe sore muscles and leg cramping, along with 50 other bedrest issues. Do any of your wives / sisters / moms / etc. offer in-home CERTIFIED pregnancy massages? I am not looking for a discount or freebie, just some help for my wife. Google and Yellow page searches are turning up zilch. I am most interested in a package of 5-10 home visits. Any help is appreciated. P.S. Throw some childish or perverted post in this thread, and I will pull enough strings to have you banned.
  21. THOROUGHLY enjoyed my drive home on Licking County back roads from Gahanna. Had the Ram sliding sideways EVERY chance I found.
