Wait, what? Didn't read the whole thread, but I know a lot of what you're feeling. We bought our home in late 2005 at the tippy-top of the pricing curve. When I see what I can buy today for what I paid for this place, it is VERY tempting to take some loss here to get into a badass-to-me home with more room for all of these people that my wife keeps growing.
