This unfortunately is true. It is retail and the replacements come and go daily. Last time i worked there there was a guy who was a chemical engineer who was a loader. There are people who need jobs that are way over qualified for the positions they are applying for. Like Cheech said you are easily replaceable. You may bring some value to the table but the guy behind you may bring more and he is willing to settle for less. I will settle for now while i get some other things in line.

I started out at Lowes. I was there for 4 years running different departments (hardware, lumber, and millwork). I left there to work for a custom design and build porch and patio company. Don want to mention who it was. I was the project/production manager for them. I was I charge of production of 5 crews. I initiated an online program to track the crews, and was let go shortly after the owner had a grasp on how to use it. I was off for 7 weeks. I took a job with Ohio Mulch as a store manager. I was told there were full benefits and it would be 40-45 hrs a week. After a few weeks I went to sign up for benefits and they only offer dental and vision. Wtf? I have a family that I want to have covered. I went back to my old store manager at lowes and talked to him about returning. I took a lesser position as a commercial sales delivery driver and now start on Monday. I will have benefits and a schedule that is more realistic for me and my family. I would entertain offers at this point. But do need a company that offers benefits and a somewhat steady schedule.

I am willing to go the extra mile for any company that i work for. But, when they start taking avantage of you and you dont see an end in sight it is time to cut ties and move on. Shitty is right in what he is saying. I did learn a lot from last positions that i have held. Looking back on the whole situation i would have never left the first job. But you never know until you try it. It has been a learning experience for me and my family. Stressful along the way, but learned a lot of life lessons from the whole ordeal. I guess that is the most important part.

Yea i found out the hard way about the grass. It has been a learning experience for sure.

So about 7 months ago i quit a good job to start a "career" with another company. Six months into the job they let me go because i got all of their things in order for them and they didn't need me anymore. (if i would have known this i wouldn't have accepted the job!) Anyways i went about 6 weeks without a job. got hooked up with another company as a store manager for them. When i had my first interview they said i would be working about 40-45 hrs a week. I can handle that. A week later it went up to 50 hrs a week, now they want me to work 6 days a week for a total of 72hrs!!!! Telling them i quit today and going back to the first company i quit from and taking a pay cut to do it. I am pissed right now having to do this! Should of been happy where i was at! Rant Over.

I just dont see it when they say the job market is improving. I still see more people getting laid off/fired than i do people getting jobs. I think the stats are full of crap.

in desperate need of front and rear stands for the zx9
Chrome replied to Bankerdude's topic in LBTS GLWS
This is the worst idea ever!! Find a front stand and do it right. Last thing you want to do is accidentally crush the pipes. -
I want some of those paint grenades! Those would be some fun for an office with a lot of cubicles lol.

Only one recently and so far I haven't had any issues.

I have had State Farm for years now and have been very happy with them. I use Dee Miller in Hilliard.

Yea it will be a weekend fun car. Kinda like a bike but the while family can come. Bikes are pretty much going to the wayside for now. Nobody big going in the backseat. I used to have a 2000 so I know the sizing. Just trying to figure out pricing for now

Reading everyone new car threads got me shopping for my next car. Needless to say I found one, but it's not local and don't want to start the bs'ing negotiations if its not even worth it. Here are the specs: 2004 Ford Mustang Saleen S281E Supercharged Coupe 1 older owner Under 5k miles Garaged its whole life and only taken out on nice days. Bike is fun and all but I'm looking for something that I can have fun with the whole family. Thoughts?

I am looking for a couple of people that are willing to work! I need 2 cashiers, 3 yard workers, and 2 delivery drivers. It is for ohio mulch on industrial parkway in Plain City/Dublin. If you have a son or daughter that needs work for the summer that would be best. 18 or older. This is for seasonal work with the potential for full time employment based on performance. If you are interested feel free to pm me for more info.

Price please!

My premiums will not go up for this. BTW. I have State Farm insurance and it has been very smooth with them so far. If anyone needs an agent I can get you the info. Saved me a ton when I switched to them.

I did call the police, but they weren't taking reports on non injury accidents. I true to push to have an officer out bit they said no. Believe me I wanted a report written on him.
-
Thanks for all of the insurance insights. I have called my insurance and am in the process with them of figuring everything out. I will most likely pay the deductible and let them take it from there. This is the second time I have had to deal with a non insured person and it just pisses me off the people are so irresponsible.
-
Just got off of the phone with my insurance company, deductible is $500. I may or may not see it back it just depends on if the other driver pays it. She also said that since he was driving a car that was not insured under his policy or anyone else's policy that the will get turned into the law and loose his license. And most likely dropped from SA. So in the end he will get what he deserves.
-
Ok ok. I could poop on his car, but he wasn't driving it! I was kidding with beating his ass. Though I really wanted to. My insurance said I might get my deductible back after a while. Anyone ever received there's back after they went after their insurance? If so how long did it take? I tried to call the police but they were only taking injury accident reports at the time. I should have claimed I was injured.

About 2 weeks ago I was driving east on broad st and had a kid swerve into my lane and clip the front of my truck. We pulled over and I got all of his info. I called his insurance company (safe auto) and filed a claim. When he got out of the car after the incident he implied that it wasn't his car (GREAT!). So I just got a call yesterday from SA and they said that since the car he was driving wasn't insured under his policy they will not be covering the damage done to my truck. The owner of the car had no insurance! So what are my options? I know I can call my insurance company and file a claim for under insured/ no insured driver, but I will have to pay the deductible, it will only be $250 I'm told. Should I get a few quotes and send a certified letter to the kids house threatening to sue him if he doesn't pay for the damages. Or lastly (the one I was close to yesterday) going to his house and beating his ass severely until I feel I get my monies worth. I have all of his information off of his drivers license and from his insurance card. Name, address, telephone # everything. What should I do???? Had to write this today because I was so pissed off yesterday I was seeing red!!!! Ok rant over

Really??? I would like to hear this.
