now did he have like a full on rolling floor jack or was it just a bottle or scissor jack out of his car? i think if someone came to a screeching halt in front of me and jumped out of their car with a floor jack like its the Daytona 500....I would think somethings up....I know there are people that carry small floor jacks in the trucks but if it is an everyday run of the mill cavalier of sorts....it sounds fishy to me!!!!!

All I have to say is I'm still waiting for this "CHANGE" all of us were promised. That pictures is amusing, is it demeaning to the president well of course but that has been done for ages. I just wish everyone would get their heads out of their asses and do what is BEST for the country and not what is going to make their career bigger and better. It almost seems as if since Obama was elected that he reached the milestone as being the first African-American to hold presidental office that his notch in history is there and nothing else needs to be done. the one that always gets me is guys that wear a helmet but have on shorts, cutoff shirt, and flip flops....uh the helmet is going to only protect your head you jackasses!!! it doesn't automatically protect everything else too. use some common sense and wear proper gear not fucking flippy floppy's!!!! as for people that do/don't wear a helmet, IT IS a personal choice....i have sometimes went with out a helmet but thats only if i am puttin around town. i know i know, you can wreck and die just as easily at 35mph as you can 65mph.

Well like I originally posted, I have shot firearms before and know and practice firearm safety. As for what gun I want to buy not sure yet but definitely leaning towards Glock. The whole stipulations deal, if that is what makes her feel comfortable for me to get a firearm I'm all for it. Like what was said before, I am convincing HER not me. She means the world to me and what ever I have to do to make sure she is safe and happy then by all means I will do it.

I showed her both of the info from these two websites. The fact that there were over 500 crimes within a 2 mile radius in the past 3 months swayed her. I guess she had to have factual information. Her deal is if I turn on the alarm to the house I can get a gun and I have to go shooting with her dad (ex-army special forces) before it can come in the house. No big deal cause her dad is cool as hell and we always have a blast together. Thanks for the input guys, really appreciate it.

Thats what I have tried to tell her but she thinks we live in a safe neighborhood. We actually live 150 yds from 71. I told her if anyone wanted to do anything they could come, break in rob us, do god knows what and flee right to freeway and get away easily. I have wanted to try and get her to the range and have her shoot and it would hopefully change her mind but she doesn't want to have anything to do with it. She grew up with firearms in her house because her dad was in the military. I just don't understand. I understand her concerns about "accidents" but "accidents" only happen if you don't exercise and understand proper gun control and keep your firearms in a safe and secure place when they are not being used. She uses the excuse of...what happens when someday we have a kid and they accidentally get a hold of it and hurt themselves. I have just about ran out of reasons and was wondering if any of you avid gun collectors had any stellar reasons. My friends told me a should stage a break in but I definitely don't wanna get one off of a cruel joke.

So I have been shopping for a new handgun but my wife doesn't want a firearm in the house. I have given her the household safety/personal protection speech and also I would like to carry with me while I'm out working cause unfortunately I work in some not so good areas from time to time and given the state of the economy I am unfortunately afraid of possibly getting attack and robbed if not worse. I enjoy shooting, I have shot many handguns before and understand and practice safe gun control but I have never had a handgun of my own. Can anyone think of a logical reason I could give my wife about the need for a handgun?

yea $100 sounds like a pretty sweet offer. It probably is a damn good bottle of whiskey and is gonna knock someones dick stiff cause its already 100 proof. Does alcohol get stronger with age the more it ferments?

From what I read it is still made. A 1.75L bottle that was aged 6 years in the barrel went for 20.00. Since yours is much older but was only aged 8 years in the barrel. I doubt you would get much more unless you found a collector and then they may only want the empty bottle.

Thanks guys. I guess I'm just getting aggravated at the fact that I can't do it right now more than anything. I do have a plan for. Trust me I have had a layout, spreadsheet, timetable, cost projections, all the jazz for it for a while. I know exactly what I want and how I want the car to look when I am done so....guess I need to cool my jets eh?

I guess my biggest issue is that I am impatient as hell!!!! I guess it comes with age. I was just curious cause I know a lot of guys/gals put a lot of time, blood, sweat, and tears into their vehicles and wanted to see how most if not all fund their projects. Definitely sucks right now since I am not working as much as have at this point in the year as a few years past.

Details of the build is basically a complete overhaul. I want to yank everything and basically restore and renovate it. That isn't a bad idea about the whole side job thing never really looked into doing something like that.

Yea I didn't mean like financing a loan or anything just in general. I definitely don't wanna go into debt over my car but its driving me INSANE that I can't drive it right now.

Just curious, I have had my car for the past 6 or 7 years and there are A LOT of things I want to do it but never really have the money. How do some of you finance or find the funds to build some of the cars you do? If you feel comfortable talking about it of course.

Considering mine red ringed and I sent it back to microsoft and got it back in a week. More worth doing that then completely fucking it before you sent it back. I guess I'm a hardcore geek too...I downloaded pirated things and build my own PCs. Can I join the uber geek squad STFU!!!
