Anyone remember this?

This alone makes me want to change my service.

If I recall correctly, the specs on Verizon's website says that the Omnia does not support e-mail. This was the deciding factor on getting the storm, for me. Here are some facts. If not, then buy the sweet pocket PC.

Thats what I thought. I am down to about 4 or 5 programs that are running. It seems like it is going faster now.

Nice. I was going to try the video recorder here in a few. Back to my question, now that I know about that, how do you stop the things that are running? Is there like a master option to close all or are they going to contentiously run? Also, where did you get the .114 upgrade? Crackberry? Was it hard to install or any configuring?

Is there anyway to see if there are programs running in the background?

That actually sounds like a good idea. Get everyone on here to spam them with e-mails telling them how wrong they are about what they reported. Sometimes I wonder if things like this would work or if it would just be another sad attempt at being heard.

After comparing phones, I went with the storm as it had what I needed in a smart phone and was with Verizon. I really didn't want to go to Cingular just for the iPhone as all of my friends are on Verizon. All in all, I like this phone, just need to know how to tweak it now.

Ha. I haven't updated my profile in that aspect yet. I am in SA,TX right now prepping to move back to Hillard. That is one thing and also when I called Verizon themselves, they basically forced my upgrade and told me I could only order online as I wouldn't have been able to go to the store to get it. If I went to the store, I would have had to pay the full 599 for the phone.

I agree completely. If I had a dime for each time someone pulled out in front of me while on my bike, I would be rich. I really like how the report is trying to make it look like the person in the car was a perfect person who got put into a bad spot. I guess they don't understand that people on bikes are good people too. This is just my two cents as I was not there to see anything and I do not know what actually happened other than what I am reading on various sites. Such a sad day.

Well, after getting the phone last night and playing with it, I can say that I love it. The only problem I have is that it is slow when switching between apps or screens. If I am playing music I cannot switch between screens at a normal rate as it appears that the music player is taking up a lot of resources. Other than that, I love it.

Damn it. I think I am having a cookies/cashed data problem.

LOL I am looking for peoples opinion on here. Not so much of the good testimonials from their site. Search option didn't bring back any hits. Either I did it wrong or it didn't work.
