Can anyone on here Install a CV shaft in my Jimmy for me? I'd like to have it done soon (less than 2 weeks time).
I was going to do it myself, and i got as far as jacking it up and removing the wheel when I realized a) I don't have a tool that will fit the axle nut. b) I don't currently have access to air tools to turn the tool to remove said axle nut c)I'd rather go home and go to bed.
I also have 4 balljoints to install in the Jimmy, but i am less worried about them. I expect the cost to have them installed to exceed the value of the truck.
So, send me an estimate to replace the CV shaft. It's the front driver side shaft. The Jimmy is currently located near Main and McNaughten in the Reynoldsburg area. I'm unsure if it is safe to drive it too far with the broken CV shaft.
Rolla? Dave? Derek?
That demo sucks my balls.
Unstable piece of trash.
The fucking thing crashed 5 times in 27 minutes. I spent more time looking at the opening videos and loading screen than I did playing. Fuck EA.
And the ~5 minutes TOTAL that I did spend playing, were spent spawning under the feet of enemy Mechs. WTF is up with the spawn system here?
If you want to race, never. If you just want to watch the average Tom, Dick, and Harry race their cars, then any test and tune will be good, but expect to see a LOT of 17+ second cars.
Nitrousbird was the 1st person to send me a PM about it. He'll be swinging by prob tonight to pick it up. If he ends up not taking it i'll post back up.
Locking.
FREE kegerator. This is an actual manufactured kegerator, not some diy. The cooling part of it works just fine (it chills really quickly actually) but it will need a new tap and plumbing. Kegrator is painted Brown with a faux wood top. I will also throw in a keg of Mystery beer. The Keg says "Latrobe" on it. I wouldn't drink it, but you can use it for a deposit. Must take keg and kegerator.
Come get it ASAP.

I usually bring Healthy Choice microwavable meals. They are relatively inexpensive (typically under $3 each, many under $2), easy and quick, healthier than most other options, and most importantly... GOOD.
Jason, not only is that what we do around here, it's who we are. Columbusracing.com.
And to the thread starter, you really couldn't figure out how to work on some underbody neons yourself???
Weren't you just looking an an LS1 Trans-AM for $10,000???? There is a $38,000 difference there! No way is that car worth anywhere near that amount! Imagine how nasty you could make that Trans-am for $38,000.
If it's a piece, DON'T TAKE IT DOWN THE TRACK! If you break and make a mess, YOU are responsible for paying for them to clean up the track. Not to mention you will be wasting everyone else's time becaue they can't run.

Complete Navigator motor. Sounds like it needs new bearings. He's asking 3K, I'm sure you can talk him down.
Impressive trap speed. And you know it is because Joe didn't use the words "slow" or "rice." Now throw on some real rubber and tell him to go click off some 11's.
No cats? They can't legally sell the car that way. They shouild replace it with a factory exhaust. If they try to charge you extra for the h-pipe, use the non-street legal nature of the car to talk the price down.
They aired it on the Greg-o show today on the blitz. Any no, I don't usually listen to it, I just happened to be flipping through and caught it.
the voice actor losses it and cracks up at the end of teh commercial
