Yeah it was good time.. I honestly don't mind the bike sliding around on me but literally losing the rear to the point of oh fack doesn't make ya fast.. I had a decent amount of days on it already then had an odd wear issue that brian nor I could figure out.. it was all good though next time with some fresh rubber. I think it's there
great day today... was really light in Advanced till they started bumping some from int to advanced due to crowding issues.. made getting some open track difficult at times.. over all good was changing things up a bit and found a nice spot sitting on 1:42 flat all day.. was dealing with an intermittent false neutral issue. got a lot of good help from brian and after some time we really started to chase the elusive :39's unfortunately both me and him had some rear tire issues and we both became flat trackers for the last 2 sessions.. it was a blast.. but well cant go fast if your sliding around that much well least I cant haha... oh well next time! oh and the wife ran her PTR today and dropped 4 seconds and now is steady in the 53's! so proud!
Took a turkey vulture to the helmet in 09.. I was riding 536. Must a spooked it .. I honestly never saw it I was looking left through a turn and it hit me in the head on the right... I never had a chance me and the bike went down.. vulture dead.. bike well wasn't pretty had to be towed.. was going about 40
Asking $2000 to ohio riders. $2500 on Craigslist Hey all, looking at getting rid of my white 2006 American Hauler 6x10 v nose enclosed trailer I am the Second owner. I have had it since 2009.its a great trailer.. and i'll post more specs later. but its aluminum on a steel base. empty weight is 1200..full capacity is 3000lbs. Its a single axle. Barn door style. With a side door and roof vent. Axle was serviced beginning of this year. Uses a 4 pin connection Fits 2 sportbike and a pit bike with no problems. Might hold 3 if set up right but never tried. Comes with 2 metal wheel chocks. And spare tire with mount. Has lighting in it. Has a removable table up front in the v. And a rack for helmets and boots on the side. Comes with a ramp. Debating on leaving the etrack. Depends on sale price. Only thing wrong with it the side door lock was broken into late last year before we moved. I drilled a new hole and it locks fine. rocks has the lock for $30. Pics are older I'll update later.
this i believe... i know im braking to early into 1 and 7 for sure, line choice through the Keyhole and Carosel are well iffy at best... i never feel 100%through them.. well im signed up for monday.. if ya have a few laps in a session i would love a quick tow..
officially signed up for monday. I'm riding in Advanced red and white R6 #13, wifey is in Intermediate blue and white 600rr brown Ezup, white trailer pitted with MANY others in a Ezup shanty town towards the back!
Wife is 5'3" and peg legs it every where she goes on a 848 and 600rr.. don't mess with the geometry it will make it harder to turn and more.. just learn to get comfy on one foot.. btw.. I an barely 5'10" with zero issues getting off the bike and walking it to park
Typically you can camp in the lower camping or around the outside of thunder valley and the lower China beach area.. for rvs can't camp in the paddock area until Sunday night after the teams leave... typically
Theresa and I for the last 4 years have always signed up for Monday either Friday.. or over the weekend at the track.. never been full and lucky always good weather
I know so many fast guys that never ever touch a knee... and vice versa so man overly slow riders that drag like no one's business. . Of course personal height does play a role
it's my philosophy that a knee down is a symptom of riding not a reason to attempt. I get what your saying but.. correct riding position and so on will get the knee down..trying to get the knee down with less lean angle could cause bad body position and so on..
it was the mid "peace" sign photo to Joe Hansen of electric eye images no we will not be back until the day after MotoGP with indy ducati. this is out Mid ohio time lol
back on subject.. the day went well.. weather held out fantastically! and my group I had come from indy that had never been to a world class org before.. we're highly impressed by the day.. good job on your first at bat brian it did well! oh and tell Matt Mahoney again thanks for the offer to Coach for the day.. I still think I should have taken him up on it
