Hey all.. Last year the wife and I bought a home.. gorgeous home. but it was built in the 60's and has a detatched 1 car garage that was well built in the 60's this is not working for me.. when we bought the place the garage was appraised with the home and inspected.. they stated that it was in good condition but the slab was in poor. it has deep running cracks and it has sunk quite a bit. it concerns me having 4 motorcycles in there. I would like to turn it into a 2 car garage. I have the room In the backyard but I don't know anyone that can do the work. I know nothing about this kind of stuff.. please help if you know of anyone that could do this kind of work. I don't mind helping. or just paying hah. I don't know what kind of permits I need and so on. thanks

I cant speak for mid ohio or how they do things but novice for us is always passin only in the straights with 2 wingspans or about 6 feet.. and never get off the race line unless flagged, pitting in or you are being towed by a instructor and they tell you too. you are supposed to learn the race line correct? supposed to be able to use that line to get more consistent and faster? how can you do that if your constantly off that line or worring about the "faster" riders behind you.. if its behind you it doesn't matter(can you tell this is a passionate spot for me lol) it is and will always be the job of the person passing to make a clean safe and quick pass.. if the rider behind you is truly faster than you then they will have set you up many turns ahead of where they actually intend on passing.. and if you are on the race line all the time they can predict that you will stay on the race line throughout the track so that they may pass(faster rider should be able to adjust their line to pass) after they set you up they will "hopefully" get the better drive out of the previous turn and power down the straights to pass you (in novice) now lets take the opposite. say the rider is faster than you and you are on the race line. they are setting you up to make the pass in the straight . you notice them and get off the race line right before they start passing you.. well that faster rider was anticipating you to be on the race line so they altered their line to pass you.. unfortunantly 2 objects can not occupy the same space at the same time and something has to give. this means quick avoidance maneuvers or colliding.. neither are good options...

man to bad I have plans this would be a nice street shakedown of the panigale after the tires got scrubbed in at the track.. andy have fun man we'll ride soon
-
I wouldn't have as I don't coach at mid ohio. (only at Putnam with indy ducati) I was in Adv all day
-
Theresa gets off about 630 we can swing out after that if cool
-
The problem is That the rider that made the pass might not be fast enough or more importantly consistent enough to be in any other group besides novice this is where coaches and controllers come and play they are there to manage and assist riders such as the one being passed and the one doing the passing but I digress there are so many of you and so few of us we can't control everything at all point in time we just do our best and hope everyone has a great safe day
