if you ever read the original walking dead series books then you will notice that zombies retain "core" functions this includes basic motorskills and quite possible as suggested by the books motor memory of things done in the past EG. doors, ladders, and even basic functions as shown by sitting in the church...

like radio stated.. the sidi's are very nice but not for everyone.. they do fit more narrow feet.. myself i wear the sidi's and they are perfect for me. i didnt like them as much as the a* but a lot of my friends have the A* and swear by them just as i do Sidi!
