Like I said, uneven wear on a tire is a sign of one of the shocks being bad and compressing more than the other. This isn't some made up scenario...it happens.

The fork travel is at the other end...take off the tire and you can move them with little effort independent of each other all day. One of the signs of one of them being bad uneven tire wear? Why? because they are moving independent of each other. You can also see poor or worsening handling with one being bad. The other won't take up the slack as much as you think over time.

No they don't. You shouldn't have to talk to the owner to get anything done. According to your first post in your other thread you called them and they weren't willing to help. A business is the sum of its parts not just the head of it.The fact that it took all this just to get them to look at it is ridiculous.

The fact that it seems to have taken this much to get them to look at it even says less of them. You even said they knew about your posts and that's probably the only reason they are helping you now. Your original review/complaint was removed so as my own personal reminder I'll never recommend their shop or do business with them ever again.

That thread should never be removed. At most there should be an update by the OP once everything has been finalized without editing the first post and the thread locked.

Vista's fine, XP is slightly better though if your hardware sucks. Linux is overrated and I'm saying that running 2 Ubuntu boxes here at home and 3 at work.

I can do along ride with the wife on the back of the 1000rr easy. Might not be too comfortable for her back there but I hardly notice she's there.

They need to suck it up. It's no different than seeking the opinion of others or writing a review. They need to realize in this day and age they can't afford to even remotely screw anyone over. They can whine all they want...
