The B-25 is real cool. The kids were amazed at the number of gunners on such a small bomber. The F104 was only ok, but there's not much you can expect out of "the missile with a man in it" especially with the F-16 and F-18 flying before them. Even their high speed passes seemed less impressive than the others. They are really cool to see around still though. Thanks!
Thanks, thanks. I'm dropping the kids off down at Camp Kern on Sunday morning I think. Not sure what time. If I'm back in the area in time I'll meet up with you guys, if I have nothing else to do maybe I'll ride out and try and catch up.
... for obvious reasons. We haven't been to the airshow in about 6 years and I decided to take the ol' camera along to get some shots. First time shooting planes and I didn't have the lens I wanted, but some still came out alright. Definitely happy to hear you both aren't worse off as it sounds like it easily could have been. I also second the thanks for not including pics of your ass.
I always said I would give the boys all the opportunities to do stuff I never got to do as when I was younger even if I go broke doing it. If there was a place close by for it the oldest would have an NSR 50 too. That track is New Vienna Motorsports. They've got several other tracks also. It only takes us 40 mins or so to get there and it's great for the kids.
Ugh that was horrible... I hate when fights end like that. Can't wait to see Hermes Franca fight. I'm more looking forward to that fight then Silva's Light Heavy Weight debut.
My youngest(7) Xander finally got his bike and took it out for his first day. I didn't get many pics since I was busy yelling "Eyes up!" and "Go faster!" He had a great time and his big brother made his day by spending the day playing follow the leader and running around the peewee track with him.
