  1. So did anyone get any unbelievable deals or was everything over priced like I would expect?

This one honestly wasn't as bad as the others. .223 ammo was reasonably priced at some tables; .33 cents a shoot brass cased PMC brand. I got a couple extra 1911 mags for 12 bucks each. There were a couple tables with overpriced shit but there were some deals.

  2. I was gonna call you and see if you were going. Whats your carry piece?

Also look on ebay, they have more than a few for southpaws.

Ill bring your goodies Likwid sent you.

I have a don Hume right handed holster I have been using for the past couple years that i really like. I want the same one I have only in a left handed model since I'm left handed. Thanks for the eBay tip! I never thought abot checking there.

    I carry a Springfield subcompact xd40.

  3. Well, looks like the story took a turn for the good.

"The shooter gave us a statement claiming it was self-defense and the evidence at the scene supports that," Sgt. Christ Holzhauser said this afternoon. He said an investigative packet will be prepared for presentation to a Franklin County grand jury, in keeping with Division policy. Police did not release the name of the robbery victim, but the owner of A S Auto Sales, 657 E. 5th Ave., told The Dispatch that his cousin, Yazen Abdul, shot Foster.

Although the owner, Ahmed Salah, told a reporter that Abdul chased the man and shot him, Holzhauser said, "There's no indication that he was fleeing as he was shot. It was still an ongoing event."

  4. Stone wall allows rifles I believe but they only allow soft points or hp rounds. and they will not allow you to shoot off a mag you have to hand load one round at a time for rifles. PLUS they charge more to shoot rifle then they do handgun. I have been shooting there alot less as of late. They kind of suck for shooting rifles. But they are close to me like 10 mins. away. If you don't mind breech loading your ar one round at a time with hp rnds. Let me know what you want to do.

Loading one round at a time almost makes you not wanna shoot a rifle there. I hope none of the indoor ranges I go to have that same rule otherwise I'm screwed.

  5. I'm not sure... either way the guy has a broken nose... I'm wondering if there's a corporate "no weapons for employees" policy, the original story said he went and retrieved his gun, that could have been because he didn't want to get in trouble for having his gun at work?

Just speculating, either way, the robber was armed and the robber broker someone's nose... I'm not willing to bet my life he would have stopped at breaking my nose... but that's just me.

Edit: I didn't notice the employee gave chase... that's a sure fire sign he was no longer at risk...

Exactly, that's why I hope the story is wrong and he didn't give chase.

  6. It'll be interesting to see what Autozone Corporate has to say about a gun being on the premises.

It didn't happen at AutoZone. It occurred at Advanced Auto Sales.

If the account of what happened in the story at the bottom is correct I think the employee may sadly find himself in trouble if he shot the robber in the back as the robber was running away.

  7. The ruger AR 556 is expensive. I was in Vance's last week looking for ammo and they pulled one out for a customer. The sticker price for the one they had was 1599.... That's a little too rich for my blood.

  8. This is not ibs. This is some fucking tool bag not knowing how to take care of himself. Look, if you have to shit, go fucking shit. Who cares if its s public bathroom. Clean off the seat, sit down, and drop off the kids. Especially if you know you have to shit and area going back to her place. I mean, Id rather poo in public than stank up her place. Silly body builders. :nono: :nono:

And whats with the peeing in a bottle thing anyway? :wtf:

Maybe he is checking to see if he will finally test negative for steroids....:D

  9. Martini Park is slowly changing to a younger crowd. I went there in the first couple months of it opening and there were a lot of middle aged women there. I went there this past Saturday and there were a lot of young women there. I was surprised, I was expecting to see the cougars. :(:D

  10. Might have something to do with the heavy sales of ammo since Obama got into office. Factories working overtime and all that. Just a thought.

I agree with you. The one place I have been going to for ammo has not been out of anything I have needed lately so that's a plus.

  11. Guy I did my ccw with was a range officer for cleveland p.d and says they have been getting some real crap ammo also. He warned us of an underpowered round not leaving the gun and the potential for have this happen. Sucks that the officer got hurt.

The range officer and Ohio peace officer that did our CHL training said the same thing about crap ammo these days. Maybe it has to do with the whole ramp-up to try and curtail the ammo shortage..
