  1. i would give you a hand, but you'd have to come to nashville lol, manual trannys are easier than auto's, they will only go back together one way. the hardest part is figureing out how to disassemble it, but that can all be found in a service manual. by the way which vehicle is this tranny from?
  2. sell the ford and get a GM i know i'm an graemlins/asshole.gif
  3. or you could do it your self if you have the time, if you're replacing the synchros, then you migh want to consider a full rebuild, if the synchros are shot chances are that the bearings and other parts are probally worn out too.
  4. i'll agree with marc, the motor is shot. if it's an ecotec motor it will probally be very expensive. hope it's still under warrenty!
  5. i don't know very much about these trannys, but i know that they can be built, STRONG. they put them in the t-types and grand nationals, ask kenny, he'd know
  6. um, call jegs and get a real motor, like a ZZ4 small block chevy graemlins/gives.gif
  7. well... I never knew there were 2 different 350 trannys, other than the differences in the bell housing for the chevy motors and BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) motors I always thought they were the same tranny. To my knoweldge they are the same, both technically Turbo Hydramatic 350 Transmissions. I think Kenny would probably know the true and correct answer though. P.S. Pneumatic!!! Is a Tranny operated by air power?!?!?!?! I think not tongue.giftongue.gif [ 12 September 2002, 02:16 AM: Message edited by: Super Saturn ]
