i'd recomend that you take it to a dealership. The techs at Saturn are specifically trained in saturn and saturn problems. if I had to guess i'd say it was something to do with the valve body. I know that the s series cars have had some problems with those in the past.

take it to a shop or someone that has a scan tool and can check your codes. that makes life much easier, plus less expensive, cause instead of just replacing parts till it's fixed, you can find out exactly which part or parts are bad, and save money by only replacing the bad parts.

at the bottom of the auctual shifter lever there is a plastic bushing that might be bad, it's kinda hard to describe, theres a metal ball at he bottom of the shifter stick, and around that metal ball is a plastic bushing. that bushing fits into a slot, and the slot is attached to the linkage. ok, so i have the led washer nozzles on my saturn, and one of them does not light up, it's got power and ground, i'm confused, i thought led's did not burn out, is there any way to check an led to see if it's burnt out? thanks P.S. I'm asking a serious question, no bullshit replys, thanks

no, the transmission needs to be disassembled then you can replace the bent fork, but if it's only happened once i would not worry too much about it. sometimes weird stuff like that happens once and never happens again after that.
