  1. i was die hard nitrous but its so nice going rounds and only having to worry about checking engine temps and adding gas...not checking plugs and worrying about bottle pressure....will it last another run...damnit i have made it to the late rounds and the refil station is closed and i have 4 bottles well 3 right now...eric is using one.hehe. i am just much more relaxed running it now and not worried about a hot lap or 2
  2. Murray is selling his Glide, he is switching to a crazy turbo 400, yeah but 2-4 tenths is how much hp...when you get that fast.... I love my PA c-4....i was cussing it till i found the o-ring issue but after that...it works great. My buddy with the 10.80 coupe picked up about 2 tenths switching to the c-4 from his c-6. Plus the C-6 was having issues with the TCI trans brake
  3. i know the art carr had problems with the 1st gear plantaries(sp) and has a recent update. the c-6 has alot bigger parts but eats about 20-40 more hp. My buddies both are running the art carr c-4's with thier big blocks in coupes...one is a 545 running 10.30's only shifting at 5800 and it broke the planitary. The other runs 10.80's and no real problems out of his. i have torn the servo o-ring and had to replace it at the track but, no problems other than that and another buddy has a PA c-4 in a full austin chassis fairlane with a 514 with no issues....all cars are N/A
  4. i was talking in comparison to an aluminum head like a ford motorsport kasse head or a blue thunder head.... my block is 9.5 deck and 195lbs alone with all forged shit... I know full iron headed and full interiored coupes with 545 strokers that are around 3400-3350. I am running a PA c-4, which if you switched too you would pick up some time and save weight, but you know that.

     

    Anyways I have liked your car and have been watching your set up...no need to act like i am attacking you or Wanna....i just called him out and am confident in my set up. I wanna race someone other then Sam everytime to get a close race...if Matt shows he is faster but it will be fun. If i don't make it to NMRA i will be at xenia and run whoever you set next to me....

  5. mine weighed 3550 with me in it....10.48@129 and 10.5ish and over 130 was the norm. with power steering and power brakes, power windows, etc.

     

     

    are you forgetting i have a all iron big block in my nose heavy none running car.where was you when it was running.im not standing up for him, but they have two shutdown's for a reason....ever use the second turn off? propablely not!

     

     

    I have a dart block and power windows and locks....cd player sun roof and full mild steel cage...if you ran some dove heads and the power steering i will give ya the extra weigh, but block weight is the same and you know it. I have tons of passes at xenia with my bike, in my old lightning just not in the car with this set up. Don't act like i am one of the people on here who doesn't race or know about it. I was up and running when you were, i am pretty sure you were at trails one of the same nights as me, you were running 11's...you had some issues that night. I was running my lil 347 before i split it in half, i have never been down more than half a season.

  6. As i said before...its the same weekend as NMRA world finals one of the 2 sanctions I race in. As far as being a "TRUE" ohio drag racer what do you mean and to whom are you directing that too? Lets compare the number of passes made in just the last month or two if you want. I might give you a "TRUE" ohio street drag racer but, if you want to compare number of events ran in this year and where finished....bring it.
  7. You don't even have a running car Rob and do you have stand up for him. I am not talking shit....I have wanted to come out ot the ODRA events for a while but, they have been when i have races scheduled elsewhere. I have been out the westside too and watched jackasses fighting in front of k-mart, not that much racing when i have been out. But, your right i am scared...just asked you to bring it to an open event and you won't. You win....
  8. so 6.50 and 7.50 index 1/8 mile classes are 7 and 8 second cars....hmmm? I must be faster than i thought. Plus running 130 at xenia with stock mustang brakes isn't fun, stoppable yes but the brake cool down is longer than it takes the engine and trans to cool. I do see the bigger classes but, i am calling you out not the likes of David Murray or whoever. Plus its the same weekend as the NMRA World finals.
  9. Norwalk is one of the best tracks in the state and the best hooking track i have been at this year, and i have been at a bunch. PM anthony, i bet for the track rental he will let this go down so the shit talk will end and just to see the races go down.
