Bullets only tumble after they travel such a distance that they loose stability in flight. Or if you have a completely F'd up barrel or the wrong twist rate for the size bullet you are shooting.

+1... Hitting something and group size are 2 different things.

Just as an FYI for some comparisons. Im shooting a 180 roundnose at around 1000-1050 FPS for subsonics out of my 308. Thats a big, heavy, blunt, bullet and at 100 yards, I get 1 inch groups. Before you all start trying to compare velocities, bullet shape, and range limits, etc, you really should learn more about ballistics and what your talking about. Dont just assume that because its a pistol round that its not good past 50 yards. Ive shot my subcompact G27 .40 at man sized steel at 100 yards and can hit them. You need to know ballistics before trying to talk ballistics. (e.g Learn how velocity, barrel twist rates, bullet ballistic coefficients, barrel length, all affect each other and the bullet performance at different distances)

Yes they can!! It gives them reasonable suspicion for them to detain you long enough to validate your identity and that you are legally allowed to have a firearm.

The guy in that vid is a dumbass (Im talking about the guy carrying.) He was obviously trying to get a rise out of the police just to video it. First off, the police do have a right to detain you until they can validate your identity and that you dont have warrants, etc. Also, unfortunately, they can cite your for "Inciting a Panic" Guys like this give firearms owners a bad name.

Right now Im only reloading rifle (223 & 308).. for my 308 match stuff, Im reloading around .38 per round. If I were to buy the same quality stuff, it would cost me $2 per round.

Myself and JohnnyLaw from this board will be hitting big darby today at 12 to do some shooting and test out my new subsonic 308 loads. Today will hopefully be a good day.

You dont need another press. just make sure the loads are the same weight. Also, like I said before, make sure you measure the OAL of your precision loads every 2 loads or so as the progressives will slightly adjust. Its weird but it happens.. I will actually be loading up about 50 rounds of .308 sub sonic today to use through the new can on Sunday.

Word to the wise. If your going for accuracy on rifle loads do not use the auto powder dispenser. I use the auto dispenser for 223 since its just my AR but on my 308, I hand measure everyone charge to the .15

I also plan on doing some ice fishing this winter.
