  1. I have that too! We probably have the same one! BLACK CASE??? I'll drink some Leinenkugel's "summer shandy" to that! BTW, a friend of my up near Lexington, OH hooked me up at a trackday last year with a front wheel removal UNIVERSAL socket! I love it...should work with every bike I ever get. I'm very thankful for that little tool. Who was your friend.. I grew up in that area. Im originally from Crestline.
  2. Ive got a hammer and the shitty tool that comes in the kit.. My hammer torque-O-meter is fucking superb.. Damn, that's ghetto! I like to be right on, so I don't do it too much and crush the races in the wheel bad or anything. My wheel nut says 94ft.lb's...I normally do 80ft.lbs. I find the torque on that is too much by the manual. Harbor Freight! $19.99 150ft.lb. torque wrench. I bought it back in 2004 though, so who knows what it costs now, I doubt it's anymore expensive. Actually I have a torque wrench from harbor freight but ist a 3/8 drive and only goes to 80 I need to pick up a 36MM socket for the axle nut and was going to pick up a breaker bar but I will probably just get another torque wrench 150lb 1/2 inch drive.. I actually have a 125lb 1/2 inch drive but its the old bar style instead of the clicker type. The only reason I use the kit tool now is because I dont have a 36mm socket.. I will probably pick on up this week. Breaker bars are 25'' long 14.99. 150lb torque wrench 18'' long 19.99 looks like Im getting another torque wrench.

Didn't even read this until now. Ha. I think it is funny that you are basically indirectly saying that my dude doesnt know his shit... How the hell would/do you know? Matt has more expeirence with racing than anyone on this board, or than anyone you prolly know. TRUE STORY! All I have been trying to do is help people out with a good setup. If I thought the guy didnt know what he was doing, I wouldnt recommend him. Oh well. Calm down fury boy... I never said your guy didnt know his stuff.. I just stated that for recomending someone for racing application suspension setups, I think that that person should have the first hand racing experience to back it up. Re-read my post and you will see where I said that I agree that people should use your guy for general suspension setups. Even the guy needing the setup said that there are very few people that he would trust setting up his racing suspension. Lots of people can setup suspension but there are not alot of people out there that are money when it comes to dialing it a good racing suspension. Just so happens that your guy happens to be one of those guys that knows his shit. thats great. I dont know him and havent heard his name so my statement was not directed at him or his business.. It was a general statement about suspension setups..
  5. No thanks on Crome.... You should just put a brick or 2 in your trunk if you really want to ADD weight to your bike.. No likey crome
  6. Kawboy's just a jackass, that's all. Oh ok.. I thought you were mad at me there for a second.
  7. Trust me.. your safer with the racoon then you are with me Yota...
  8. Sounds like it could be one of those nights where I have to break out the bottle of Absynthe again.. There are a few people on here that have had the priviledge of starting the night with that shit.
  9. There goes Yota always trying to put lube on some dude... weirdo..
  10. I always forget that they have male nurses these days..
  11. Somehow your gangsta pic is making its way around the various internet forums.. Fucking classic.. http://gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144977 Evidently the above thread was started when someone found the pic on pensacolariders.com. which uses cycleforums as its forum host
  12. Actually it just looks like the axle got tweaked..I think its all good.. Look at the closeup of the tire when the bike is in my truck.. you can see how far the axle block is moved back.. the other side is right where is should be so I think the axle just wedged itself while the bike was tumbling.
  13. Wow.. leave it to an admin to edit a post with a suid pic.. at least you could have used ths guy
  14. To be completely honest.. a subframe, race plastics, axle, and a fairing stay and he is probably good if the forks and swingarm are straight.. Most of the impact appeared to be on the rear of the bike. Yeah it looped... and then tried to fly like batman.. you should see how far apart the impact marks were.
  15. Last but not least.. By the way .. anyone notice that Asians pants are undone in the previous pic? Hmm.. Well Here is the reason..
  16. Ok so here are the pics from last night'
  17. yeah thats right.. bike condition.. If I ball it up on my next track day then I wont be riding it later in the year.. the SHOBK as you put it wil NOT be seeing the track..

People need to start using my dood more. He is fucking awesome!!!! He has raced many years in his life- knows what works good and what doesnt. He isnt very expensive compared to some people either. No offense Yota but your guy may know his stuff but you dont have the experience with racing and setting up race suspension to back him up like that.. Im all for supporting good people but when it comes to racing suspension I think someone needs to have the experience to stand up for someone else.... just my .02 Realize that I am talking about someone who is actually racing and not just getting their suspension set up for their weight for street riding and the occasional track day. For the average rider, I would definatley say to give your buddy a call.
  19. I have to agree with the fact that if I have 20K in a bike, Im probably not going to be tracking it anytime soon unless I was uber rich.. (I know how you all love the word uber) Besides.. its a friggen 1098.. who here is good enough to handle a litre bike on the track anyway.. Anyone, anyone. and let the smartass comments begin. By the way.. I have to comment on the guy in the pics with the 1098.. Anyone notice the chatterbox on his helmet.. Maybe he should call Chris.. (For those of you that dont know. This is an inside joke and no offese is intended)
  20. Maybe.,, depends on funds and bike condition.
  21. Did you say.... super troopers.jpg[/attachment:0742d]
  22. I do my best.... sad to hear you wont be riding this summer but the house is a good choice.. you figure out where your planning on getting an apt until the house? PS.. Looks like shitty now has a track bike.. Jackpot..
