(unless we had more information) You can run 30+ on a 14b. No signal to the gate=party time. People have gone 10's on a 14b. Ideal? No. But you can do it.

  9. You need to read up on pressure vs. flow boss. The "Psi" is all but irrelevant for how much power the car is making. For example. My Colt at 25psi on a 14b- 239whp. At 25 psi on a 60-1 441whp At 25psi on a GT42 659whp. According to your sig, your some kind of Honda tuner? As a tuner, I feel like I should not be explaining this too you.

  14. Colt was 2250lbs empty. Figure 2500 race weight. I agree its different, and I dont want to spend the $ on a T56 right now- so I was going over my reasonable options.
  15. Im stuck with the gear, Im keeping the IRS-and can only go so large with the tire. I NEVER had a motor or trans issue any time I was over 180mph, not once. I agree its more strain, but thats what I like to do, its what I need to do. If its not going to like the big end, then its not for me.
  16. My last motor made 505ft lbs, an that was not turned up.:bangbang: Thats only for a 2500rpm span. I would like the OD to hold up for top end pulls though....
  17. I've used gear calculators when I was setting up the Colt for the standing mile-I crossed 200mph at 7600rpm in 5th gear. I did not realize how much a 1.1 would kill me. The 700r4 looks like a great option now- Turbo 350 2.52 1.52 1 N/A Turbo 400 2.48 1.48 1 N/A 2004R 2.74 1.57 1 0.67 700R4 /4L60 3.06 1.63 1 0.7 4L80E 2.48 1.48 1 0.75 Pro's/Con's? Is it strong in stock form? And- is the Overdrive really that weak?
  18. Rear gear? Dont they both have 1.1 finals? Im stuck with a 4.11 rear. Tire size will be around 24.5
  19. I know this, but what is the difference between T350, and TH350? Are you telling me a TH400 is a 2 speed? I though it was a 3 speed? The glide is nice, but with a big turbo you have to spray the bejesus out of it to get it off the line. Weight-2600lbs Intended use-breaking the sound barrier. 9's on gas and all boost. 40 roll domination....
  20. Is a standard non-Hydro a 2 speed or something? Also from what I gather, the Th400 would be a much better option, especially in stock form. You guys agree?
