  1. Its all good! It was bound to piss someone off. :gabe::gabe:
  2. Yes, including the car. I did get lucky to find the car with engine, trans, and pile of spare parts for dirty cheap-because nothing was known to be good/running. I have a word doc at home with everything, but honestly you could do it for cheaper with an auto, truck motor, and non billet China turbos. Set up is very simple, just well though out (well, at least I think so lol)
  3. Yup! Thanks!! With the gearing and how well it shifts its like driving a turbo Busa on 4 wheels if that makes sense. Always shifting!!! The car came we 3 spare rear ends, so I will aim to break these before I look to upgrade.:dumb: When I do go to an 8.8 or 9inch rear, It will probably be with a 355 gear (410 now)
  4. Thanks! Goal is 9s@150 in full street trim on 17's. Would like to see it around 15psi. If/when I get a real rear end under it and can lay into high boost sooner, I'd like it to go 160+a full jam, but that probably will not come until next year Stock LS1 overall
  5. 21 psi. Stock LS1. Held together with zip ties, foil tape, and "JP" weld. Build thread here http://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/1737132-lsx-budget-dyno-queen-ls1-rx7-turbo-s.html Track times coming soon!!! Full List of Highest HP SBE's here http://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/1697708-list-top-10-stock-bottom-end-lsx-s.html
  6. Between Shrek and Mikey up here there was 6 built STI motors that blew up in one way or another within a 2 year period. Shit was bananas
  7. Impressive!!!! Subarus only seem to blow when you build them... My issue is not power production, its the front half. My clutch is a super aggressive road race clutch. It does not slip. My hope is it spins enough in 1st and 2nd to save the rear but still get me moving. If not, I will just pile on boost ont he back half. Freakin car will probably go 9.8@160 lol
  8. No rod bolts, no nothing. When I sat Stock, I mean Stock from GM in 1999. Not "CR" stock LOL. Full Jam is set to 15psi, I think that will last a while and be fast enough to meet my goals with that (Goal this year was 9's@150 on a street tire) Cant make it down, baby time!!!
  9. Considering how lean it went on the top @ 20psi, not long LOL. I will put in a 340 to help out soon, but I am breaking every rule on LS1 right now-I have heard everything from exploding blocks to bending cranks north of 600hp, the only think I am truly worried about is the smallish rods. I think they would bend with a full season @ near 900whp-but I think it will live a long life @ 14-15psi and low 700's whp. It will only see "Kill" a few times a year, and not until I get more pump!
  10. Thanks! Yes, I seem to have a thing for pushing the envelope. LOL! Love it! Hate is expected-hell I had no idea I was even going to toss it back on the dyno that day and never expected this outcome, ever!! I'd love to come but the wife is at 37 weeks, and I think she is going to go early. Already seeing "the signs" and cant chance being 2 hours away +time to pack up a car if she goes into labor. Sucks as it looks like its going to be an awesome day.
  11. Goal achieved. My pile is now the highest WHP stock LS1 powered car, ever (according to the internet) 872whp http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150425_235628731_HDR.jpg 20psi spike, settled at 19. Running lean up top because, well I have 2 fuel pumps I pulled out of a random parts box lol. At the crank, that's likely near or over 1000hp. In 'Merica, they say that FOUR DIGITS. FOUR FUK'N DIGITS! Video to come, hope it comes out because it sounded unreal. So unreal I lifted early because I was convinced it was going to pop lol. I will likely toss one or two 340's in the tank before I make a pass at full Geechie. It made 814@17 psi with steady AFR, so that will do for now!
  12. Nay interest in coming to a rental at Thompson in a few weeks?
  13. Thanks to you!! That oil leak I emailed you about literally fixed itself. Turbos are working great!!
  14. Its honestly the best shifting car I have personally owned. In the video, the only reason the 1-2 seemed slow is that it went into 2nd so easily, I didn't realize it was it second LOL. After yanking back on the stick 3 times to confirm it was in second, I let the clutch out and felt like an ass about it afterwords. Super light twin+short throw shiftier=mind bending shifts.
  15. This is not 007 on N64. Anyone who can use a gun proficiently can put lead in the meat of a leg and never break concentration on the situation. But, its easy to say that from the sidelines.
  16. Test hits at 15 psi on a cold tire. Make those Micky T's work! You can get a good idea of how responsive it is too-its not laggy in the least bit. http://vid1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/GOPR0489.mp4
  17. I would have put 2 in his legs. Problem solved.
  18. Thanks to my GTR buddy Matt who donated 2 china Purple gates to the car because, well he just had them laying around (no I am not kidding) and it completed the twins theme. Thanks Matt! http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150417_162019998.jpg As for the Drag radials-Love em'! Dead hooks in 2nd on Gate (8psi, Mid 500's HP) when it used to spin hard through 4th! Now goes dead-straight when in it. Needs a little tweaking but I am super happy that I can actually now USE the car lol. Next "round" of upgrades was installing a solenoid so I can have on the fly boost control. Its been my ghetto traction control method for years, and this solenoid was int he throw away bin at a local shop back in 05 LOL. Stage one is Gate, Stage 2 is whatever I set my Hallman at. http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150417_162009109_HDR.jpg http://i1003.photobucket.com/albums/af154/coltboostin/LsxRx7/IMG_20150417_161928027.jpg Works Wonderfully! With some heat in the tire, I can 90% hook 15psi in 3rd, and 17psi in 4th. On a cold tire though, its just paints the ground at 17psi-even pedaling 4th gear! Not sure how much she is making at 17psi, but fuck it felt nasty. Next up- real intakes!
  19. Love it. Will this be a track rental, or part of a test and tune at trails?
