i havent heard of any probs with the timing chains......just get all the marks lined up and install the link and no probs.....unless a tensioner fails. As for the Mikunis i had to get 1/2 thick spacer plates made at Morse Automatic Precision down on S. High Street because with the DOHC engine the top of the carbs would hit the camshaft covers. This i knew in advance since i stay in touch with Terry Naughtin of Team Hansen Honda....real cool and knowledgeable guy when it comes to the cb450. My next project i hope will be a cb350 since there are tons of parts around for em.

nice....i just restored a 72 cb450...working on adjusting my Mikunis i just got for it....never screwed with Mikunis before but will fig it out.

thats because as stated your ram air is not designed as the one on my bike....Most of the 12 owners i know have yet to find a decent stand (triple tree) for them and now that the 14 is out probably wont unless they have one custom made or make one themselves. The 14's Ram Air is relocated to prevent such a prob.

i got a set of T-Rex's they are ok...does the job EXCEPT.....when i want to use the front stand with the attachment for the Triple tree....cant use it...it presses up against my ram air intake in a bad way....so instead of risking a crack in the plastic i have to devise other methods for front suspension work.

man those classes fill up so fast its unbelievable...my gf registered on the 2nd. Before i got my license i tried to register in like....mid feb a few years ago and they were booked up in Franklin county all the way til Jul so i just took got the permit and took the practical riding test to get mine.

i thought i saw another bike down coming into columbus yesterday on 71 south bound by the middle wall....a semi truck and 2 police cars were there as well as an EMT truck..this was around 3 oclock sometime.
