just from looking at it you can tell it is an aluminum block, most of the next gen diesels being released have a reinforced aluminum block. check out the new line of mercedes cdi and bmw diesel engines.

I got all the parts to do a 520 conversion but need a chain tool to finish the swap. I am willing to pay $10 or a 12 pack of your favorite domestic beer . I can also leave a deposit if you don't trust me. It shouldn't take me long to do the swap so i will only have it for a day or two. and if anything breaks i will either buy the parts or replace the tool. PM and e-mail works. Thanks Paul
