  1. EDIT:

I called the local SHP post and they said take pictures, go to court, plead no contest, and tell the judge my story how I didn't realize i had equipment violations and I went straight home and corrected them.

they said more than likely the judge would waive atleast some of the charges

then you are taking the gamble of having a judge that is a dick, you could end up with your $260 fine + additional court fees

  2. they issue military members a government travel card for incidents exactly like this (unexpected travel expenses), it has been happening for years it just so happens that these guys recorded it. all they had to do was hand over their gtc, it gets charged to their travel card account and gets reimbursed when inprocessing. the service member never hands over a dime out of their pocket.

what is bullshit is our servicemen and women being harassed by tsa officials while going through immigration or security check areas.

  3. why don't they just charge it to their gtc? A guy that deployed with me ran into the same problem when he checked in all his gear and did not have his gtc activated (american airlines)

Edit- and finance will reimburse any out of pocket travel expenses upon arrival at their duty station, you just have to fill out the in processing paperwork and have a copy of your receipt (or any proof of expense) if the charge is over $50. for expenses under $50 you can simply report it on the form and get your money back (taxi, baggage carts, tips, etc...)

  4. In a 600 series class, that makes sense:nono:...you can't compare twin CC to the same level on a I4, they are not the same

you could just have the 600s drop another 5 pounds and have the 750 add 5 :D. i guess you did not get the sarcasm from my first post. the main point is that the supersport class is based around i4 600s. when you start adding in all these wildcard bikes you will have to make adjustments to keep them all competitive. the thread was not going anywhere so i was just adding to the absurdity ....

  5. Just for an update on this, I went into the pickerington bmv this april to renew my registration that had been expired since october. The lady behind the counter asked if this was the first time I had it out this year, I said yes, and she said alright I will override the late fee. It seemed pretty common practice at that bmv as the manager had to come over to enter a code in order to override the late fee. YMMV

  6. +1 for batteries plus, I purchased one of the $75 batteries two years a go. It took a shit in the fall before i got a chance to put it on a trickle charger, figure i was sol and went into batteries plus this spring to buy a new one. It did not say it on the packaging but the battery had a 1 year warranty. I was a couple days past the 1 year mark but they said it was close enough and handed me a new one off the shelf.
