  1. Next year we will be looking for an additional sales person and I will take a stronger look at the non experienced at that time. We will have the time to properly train someone then. I hate nothing more than to have someone that needs training and us not have time do it. Because of that, they will make mistakes and get aggravated when the job is harder than it really is and they get held to the fire for making the mistakes. Bring on the Resumes.
  2. Who wants some! We just got in a fresh roll and ready to move it. It will be sold in 4ft wide sections by any length you want. A 4x1 section is $24 plus tax so you do the math for how much you are wanting to pick up. Typical hood, roof, or trunk install on a sedan(Evo,WRX, Ect) will take a 4x5 section. Looking forward to seeing some installs pop up. I have a Corvette coming in for some interior stuff on Tuesday. Will be sure to post pictures after we are done.
  3. Well said, especially the last paragraph. I have train numerous people, and would certainly not be opposed to training another, given I had the time to do so. One very important misconception to point out about your rant though. A salesman is not a salesman. I pride myself on not being your typical salesman. Anyone who you will speak with who has dealt with me specifically will be quick to tell you that. I like to keep things simple and to the point. I do not have "tactics" or smoke and mirrors to MAKE someone purchase something. I provide the facts and the customer will make the decision on their own. This is how I work, and how I will want anyone working for me to work. It is not an easy task to find a salesperson that can walk that line. Many feel the need to be pushy or pressure the customer into a deal. That is not going to fly at Cycle Search, not as long as I am around. Back on topic, does anyone need a career?!?!?!
  4. No time off your schedule. You are not required to be there, just the bike. Funny thing is we have a 954 in stock I am considering wrapping if I don't find the right person to work with. There should be no damage to the paint below. I have seen this stuff pulled off before without issue. Wrapping a S1000RR would be a treat!!! To wrap a whole bike, not including labor would probably cost around $275-$300 so $150-200 INCLUDING labor would be a steal. Knew this would happen eventually. Luckily for you Issac's Papa, we can wrap fairly small items.
  5. $10/HR plus commission could end up to be a lot of money. Maybe you are not aware, but sales jobs are the highest paying jobs in the world...period. Experience is required because we are mid season and do not have the time to properly train someone to do the job. I have hired people that were just getting into a position with no experience and that is not what we are looking for.
  6. We are looking for a bike to wrap in the 3m di-noc Carbon vinyl that we sell for different events that we are doing this year. By letting us display your bike at our events, the wrap will be done at less than cost. Probably around $150-$200 total to get it done. Looking for newer(2000+) models. Bike must be clean and have some modifications done to it. If wheels are black, we may want to paint them a different color. Please submit pictures and bio of your bike to JustinA@800390bike.com for consideration.
  7. to the top for resumes!
  8. Can I ask when you came in to check out the bike? I have been out since April 7th and have missed out on a few things. We do typically take the batteries out of bikes to keep them in a storage room during the winter. Lately the service department has been leaving them in more and more now, because bikes are moving faster and we are in a heated and cooled building as well. So sometimes there will be a battery in a bike that we are not aware of. When there not in the bike, or even when they are, we try not to start them anymore than absolutely necessary because they need to be ran until warm every time the bikes are started taking up to 10 minutes. That aside, when someone is quoting a price, there is no need to throw the non negotiable comment. I do apologize for your bad experience and if you need anything in the future, I would appreciate the opportunity to give you the customer experience you deserve from Cycle Search International. Please PM me if you have any more information about when you came in and who you spoke with so I can ensure that we do not have this problem again. I take great pride in taking care of our customers and will not allow for one of my staff to hinder that.
  9. Whats your experience? Right person will make $30k+
  10. I thought people would be all over this. I have got one resume so far.
  11. Locally owned but ship and sell internationally.
  12. No Busa's here I do have a ZX14 and a B-King though. LEt me know if you are interested in either of those.
  13. After the unfortunate no notice quiting of our sales guy, we are on the hunt. We need someone experienced in online sales as well as walk in traffic. If you don't know a good bit about about a wide array of motorcycles, this is not for you. We sell every brand, every model that is on road. We will be doing interviews in the middle of the month so get your resumes in quick to JustinA@800390bike.com. Once again, only the experienced need to apply.

  15. It actually comes off nicely not damaging th paint at all. Quite good, I already have had a few Subies inquire about getting it done. Let me know when you are ready!
  16. We appreciate it guys! We will continue to deliver the goods!
  17. Rated for 4 years in direct sunlight, I think 7-10 for interior stuff. If applied correctly, you could pressure wash an edge without issues. This stuff looks anything but cheap.
  18. The authentic 3m di-noc does have adhesive already on it. The off brand stuff does not. No this is not real carbon fiber, but it as close as you can get for the price!
  19. Why so much hate? A lot of these cars are stupid fast. Camber and tire wear be damned, they are still fast. As much as I like racing on a track, I think from a marketing standpoint, what better place to have a show full of "Race cars" than on a racetrack? Smart business if you ask me.
  20. 954's actually have a pretty decent resale value just simply because they're not too many of them floating around. You could probably pick up a 04-05 1000RR for about the same price as most 954RR's. The is a good bit of difference in the two. May be harder to tell unless you had both sitting right next to each other like I do.
  21. I bet it doesn't put that to the ground. A lot of bike companioes claim a lot of power. Doesn't translate to real-world dyno numbers. There are many things to consider as well. Every modern sportbike from say 2000 and up has a sealed airbox that at speed forces air into the engine. No different than a turbo car with an intercooler on the dyno, you just can simulate 100+ mph winds. If you could, I would bet the number on the dyno would go up at least 10%. Dynos are for tuning and all of them read differnt. As long as the power curve is inline, and doesn't seem way off power, don't worry about it.
