They have actually been out of business for a while. Although I think there were still people doing stuff around and inside the building until recently.

I find it dumb to compare top speeds to bikes that are electronically limited. Let's compare acceleration. If that were the case, the list would look much different. I actually think the 2006 GSXR1000 came out and was faster than the first version Hayabusa. I say race to 150 mph. Let that decide who fastest production bike. I think technically that would be termed "quickest", but you get the idea.

Everything I have read/heard about these seems to be positive about how easy they are to install and to calibrate.

Yesturday was their first official day open as a dealership. I went in and met the sales manager. Seems like a cool guy. We look forward to trading business with them in the future.

Cycle Trader avg selling price is the best guage. Kbb.com doesn't know anything about market trends and sesonality or selling motorcycles. Go to CycleTrader.com and do a search within 250 miles for the bike that is being sold. See waht the avg is and there is a starting point.

Would it really be worth the money to attempt to change to FI? I seriously doubt it would be worth the money and time spent and the possibility of going through a couple engines till you get all the wrinkles ironed out. If you were to make a FI conversion kit, I would suggest making sure it could be fitted to the newer 400EX and try to sell the kits online and see what happens.

I'm open to you comming up with a FI kit for my 08 Ninja 250.......

I could be wrong, but I think the EX250 in Japan is fuel injected. As for the other project, you could always run it with a MegaSquirt and not worry about the engine temp sensor.

One of my friends works for Pepsi and is delievering in the hood around campus and he just called to tell me he spotted an RC51 hiding behind some bushes by a fence with no plates. I told him to call the cops because that seems a little shady to me. I have never known them to rape on prices...If a person gets raped on a motorcycle deal, they didn't do their homework before when they went shopping. Any price given to you, if you aren't sure should be compared in every dealer in the area. If they aren't smart enough to do such, you can't be mad at the dealer for charging full retail on a unit.

I totally beg to differ...Hinds/ASK will stay in business simply cause they will sell bikes far lower than Pony will. I guarantee Pony, as MOC did, will hit people with full retail prices or -$100-$300 off MSRP...Pfffft! Right to ASK or Hinds..Cost + $$$$.

I would be pretty confident that Iron Pony is well aware of what it is going to take to make it happen. You don't become a big 4 dealer without some planing and insight from people who have been there and done it before. I am sure their every step is pretty much planned.

That is what I originally posted, then in normal forum ways it went to they were closing. Kind of funny how that works. With Iron Pony on its way to big 4 stardom, I dont see any other local franchises being able to compete. Doesn't effect us as much simply because we do not sell new bikes.
