  1. What part of the constitution are they violating by inforcing a check point and a curfew? No gun control
  2. They are not true to the side of the fence We did the same check point tactic in Iraq, and it works. If small communities see it is necessary then so be it, now when it becomes a large scale engulfing whole cities, I would then have a problem. If it wasn't sanctified by a large group wanting it, then I would say it's not right.
  3. I'm not a LEO, but I know that when I lived in Dublin, they kept warnings on file for atleast 2 years.
  4. It would be wrong if the community didn't want it, but since it did then I see no harm.
  5. If I lived in a high crime area filled with drive by's, crack heads etc. By all means it's for the better good. If you're innocent, then you shouldn't have to worry about anything. They targeted specific neighborhoods, not an entire city under the curfew. I'm not game for the government doing this as a whole, but if it was selected areas known for crime, drugs, shootings, then by all means. Simple solution

  7. If a majority of the law abiding citizens wanted it, then how is it unconstitutional? It's almost the same as DUI check points as I see it.
  8. That's the debate winner. The U.S will not be out gunned now, nor aytime in the future. Truth be told.

  10. We hate normal round here.
  11. If you see him again, dart on the side of the shoulder to kick up all the rocks you can up at him.
  12. Homeland Security is a good thing, local law enforcement deffinately doesn't have the man power, FBI/CIA can't take that on themselves, and the National Guard is a part time military. Solution = Homeland Security
  13. http://cache.viewimages.com/xc/679185.jpg?v=1&c=ViewImages&k=2&d=17A4AD9FDB9CF19332EFD823EFD41CFD437FC7935AB97735284831B75F48EF45 There's more than that I assume too. Somethings shouldn't be known.
  14. There's other branches off of Homeland security, like the guys that secure nuclear power plants too.

  16. But as I'll say again, if you personally are not fighting the war (meaning rifle in your hand), why do you care so much? Just curious that is all.
  17. Yes you have those liberties to a point, just like everything. Your right to speech and bear arms are somewhat limited though. Again, you can't scream fire in a crowded movie theater without consequneces, nor can you go out and buy a M249 belt fed light machine gun without a special permit. Tell me why we shouldn't have a Department of Homeland Security? No war on terror, sure we can let Al-Qaeda and everyone else do as they please without consequences too. Guess we could go back to Isolationism, but that'll bite us in the ass. I'll say the people's voice is strong, but at the same time, this is why you elect representatives. You vote on certain things, not everything. Welcome to democracy. There are many things I'd love to change, hell maybe we need another Revolution, but this is what we got, so love it or leave it. If you feel so strongly, then run for office, get into politics.
  18. If you personally aren't fighting it, why do you care? You won't be balls deep in a firefight. The "people" elect those in power to make those decisions, not average joes.
  19. I won't go into anything with you on Iraq, for what you see on the news is nothing compared to on ground line of sight. That infowars shit is complete and utter speculation. You have some anti-government nut job in his basement creating conspiracy theories. We probably have people over there, just as we do with any country we have a US Embassy in. I deffinately don't doubt us pushing weapons to help them out, for they have been part of the "coalition" in Iraq. And not to mention have their bid in for NATO. Sometimes a silent influence is better than a large on ground presence.
  20. I can run SINGARS and ASIP radios, and throw them on single channel plain text. Use a Army radio as a walky talky mode.
  21. Are you not allowed to wear woodland camo after or before labor day?
  22. OMG isn't there oil in IRAQ!!!?
  23. OH SNAP! :leghump: I've got a tomb of treasures.
  24. I love watching 80% of AR15 shooters who have never been in the military. You can always tell, if their nose is way off the charging handle. Poping off a 30 rounder is all fun, I just enjoy doing the reflexive fire drills with a simple aimed double tap.
  25. You're not cool unless you own an AR15
