Grizzly Custom Guns Brush Hawg is fucking sick. I still have the one I traded the XD with you for. I'm getting XS ghost rings, scout mount, big loop and working in the trigger soon. I plan to replace the wood for a darker finish and have it recoated in a darker/parkerized finish. Might take her to kill some hogs soon. Check with Mossberg on the barrels, I've seen a few shorties before. Check into the 590A1's, they're barrels are thicker. You could get a pretty even cut with a band saw, but you have to drill for the bead sight or solder your own rifle sight. Actually, Mossberg makes 14" barrels aswell and I believe down to 12". Can't remember if they're M500's or 590's, but doing the paperwork/license, then slapping the barrel on might be easier. Here's a 590 set up: http://44mag.commercev3.com/images/1324.jpg

Exactly. Depending upon a person's weight, body type, food intake, an overall tolerance, he may have only had a .04 BAC at best. One beer, one shot, or a glass of wine an hour puts you at .08 or the legal limit. Sad news all around. I loved te CKY series, Haggard, Viva La Bam and all the Jackass series. Of all the guys in the bunch, Dunn always seemed like a good guy and pretty level headed. RIP

Technically, you're not a soldier until you pass basic. Even if you're hurt, you get recycled, and wait around til the Army deems it necessary for you to leave or let you leave. I couldn't get out even if I tried. VA is trying to get me to claim the 40% they have for me on disability. Sorry to hear Paul, chalk it up as an experience.

Doubt it. There's lots of money being swapped in and out of the border. The US Government plays the oblivious card, when Texas DPS and the governor here knows there's a huge problem. I believe it's called Texas Drug War or something like that on Nat Geo. I try to watch it when I can. DPS seems to be the only agency actively promoting offensive style tactics against the drug runners.

Wayne LaPierre of the NRA has been one of the more outspoken people on the matter. People are actually listening to him about how jacked up this whole thing really is. Granted, it's no better than the .Gov whoring out our old stockpiles of M16's throughout the world. It's going to become the AK of the 21st century here sooner than later.
