  1. let's see. . . stop riding and bring home a bucket of parts that may turn into a full bike, then spend who knows how much money getting it roadworthy OR keep my perfectly good (maybe slow) bike that I can ride now. . . If you have an extra grand to throw at a project, I'd still say no. Working on a project bike is less time on the bike you have now. $1000 + all of the stuff it could need = a better bike that's ready to ride.

    Sig

Think I'll change my sig to "She's just jealous because I ride my bike more than I ride her. . " or would that be offensive?
  3. hah, sorry bout the trash part. Clutch actually hooked me up with one while I was up there. Now to figure out where to mount it.
  4. He sounds like one of those "Reanimator" nut jobs to me.

    Pocket Biikes?

    . . . . thekid got it started. . . .
  6. A bike like that NEEDS fur.
  7. I've lived in Texas all of my life, that kid would have been knocked out and dragged behind a pickup for a few miles where I grew up.
  8. I'm still trying to figure out where to mount a subwoofer on my RR.

    Well . .

I went up and got thekid some gear tonight. Thewoman is still skeered of me taking him riding with me, but she'll get over it. Talked to Clutch for a bit, ordered an undertail and a new screen and got some odds and ends. Came home and talked to a buddy (the one trying to sell the ford race parts to get a bike) and had a revelation. We need to get a group of hotties and have a bikini bike wash. And no, they don't make a bikini to fit me! It would raise awareness of OhioRiders.net, give us a chance to all hang out in the same parking lot and get to know each other, and obviously get to A) show off our girls, or B) Check out everyone else's girl. And raise some cash for server/hosting fees, beer, steaks or some other worthy cause. Suggestions?
  10. We can all go and make it a field trip!!!
  11. I see a couple of different versions on the site, which did you get?
  12. That does NOT mean stoppies

    Pocket Biikes?

If I can find a reasonably priced new one, I'd make you a hell of a deal on this one.
  14. The theory is: Don't ride beyond your capabilities. Your capability right now is Zero. Like I said, practice pushing it around a bit so, it'll give you an idea of how low speed maneuvering is (kind of, at least). Then find an EMPTY parking lot to ride in.
  15. I would suggest getting out in the driveway, getting on the bike, (don't start it) and push it around in circles for a few minutes. Left circle then right. Kind of a figure 8. Keep doing that till you can keep it really tight and not drop the bike. Then start it and ride it SLOWLY in a parking lot far far away from anything else. Straight lines only, ~5 mph. Just see if you're even going to be able to ride. Then, take the MSF course. Once you finish this, you might just be able to ride on the surface streets.
  16. Well, if you don't want to look stupid impeding traffic on your bike, i would say I'm the man to ride with Any day that's somewhat sunny, I'm out relearning how to ride. Message me on here or email me or something and we'll go chase each other around a cloverleaf.

    Pocket Biikes?

I rode his when I bought it (aka: the only time it ran) and it ran about 35-40 with me on it, and I weight about 175. I'm probably going to just buy him a new one with full fairings and paint it to match my CBR.

    Pocket Biikes?

He's 9 and he's pissed that I get to go ride and he doesn't. I may just have to buy a new one. Easier than messing with this thing.

    Pocket Biikes?

Anyone know anything about these damn things? I got thekid one and can't get it to run for more than one maybe two seconds. It's the 49cc version.
