Yep, but once my Texas license expired, my military ID was what I would show when I got pulled over. It was hit or miss whether the cop would want to see the expired one. . What I should have said is your military ID is used as an extension of your expired license .( or something to that effect).

The military doesn't issue a driver's license. Your military ID allows you to operate a vehicle on public roads.

My cousin is picking his bike up tomorrow. After that, we're gonna start from the Grove city / Obetz area and probably ride for a couple of hours. Probably get started around 6:30 pm, sticking mostly to surface streets. If you're interested in running around pointlessly, let me know. My cousin and I both need our bikes setup. He's about to lower his since he's 4' 2" tall (he claims to be 5' 6"). We have the same bike pretty much (his '00 yellow 929rr, mine 01 red 929rr) and the suspension is exactly opposite. His is soft in front and tight in the rear and mine is the opposite. So.... We both need to get our suspension setup, and even though his has a power commander, we both want to get them dyno tuned. He looked all over town to get the same bike as I have so that when he's kicking my ass, he can call it pure skill. he found this bike[/url:719cf] and got it "out the door" for less than their asking price.

Anyone have experience with lowering a bike? My twin cousin picks his bike up tomorrow, but he's gonna have to lower it. Any advice or extra steps involved?

If your tires need replaced, leaning is most definitely not what you should be wondering about. A bad front tire is something you don't want to experience when you're still learning.

My main thought is this. . . If it means you have to sell a running bike, which leaves you without a bike, it damn well better be worth it.
