i do tire changes out of the garage. rarely do i get any maintenance or other work really. i dont think i had any other work outside of tire changes, maybe brake pads (but thats cause the wheels came off anyway. and if i do a dresser or harley, i have to use my crafsman motorcycle lift, the table wont work, the rear fender hangs so low i need the bike pretty high in the air to pull the rear wheel

id love a handy lift.. i just cant justify droppin that kinda coin on a lift for my home garage

main reason for wanting one is so i dont kill my back. its already getting jacked up from work, and it hurts me when im bent over wrenching on bikes

cool. for those small lifts while on the table. get a car scissor jack, weld some wide steel plate on the bottom for a foot, and weld a wide steel plate on the top. then you can weld U channel to where it will contact your frame. line with rubber if you dont want it to scratch the frame. or black widow (i think thats the comapny) makes one for $59

so whats the weak point outside of the wheel chock, the pump? cause i thought it may be easy to swap the pump out for a heavy duty one

i didnt i ended up using galvanized.. it was $20 for a 4'x10' sheet compared to $90 a sheet for stainless... i needed 3 sheets

Im thinking of picking one up, besides the terrible wheel chock is it a decent lift? for $300 its hard to pass up

got some more done tonight diamond plate kick panels around the work bench and bar also got the front of my bar done.. i had this design in mind for it, so i went to making it. 3" orange stripes, and the HD bar and shield made out of diamond plate with a wood backer painted black. i drew up the logo free hand (came out pretty decent for free hand) and cut with a jigsaw still have to wrap the stripes around the side yet, but it was getting late so i called it a night some after clean up pics

got the metal tops on the bench and the bar last night got a 5" vise installed, and a 6" bench grinder

found a good deal on craigslist, but you can get them at lowes, TSC, etc..

yup shoot me a PM and we can figure it out. may be able to get you in saturday, but sunday for sure.
