  3. i had the chinese levers on my track bike.. they were actually very good quality, and contrary to KTM brians post they are machined. i saw them raw at the dealer show last year.
  4. 2 craftsman combo boxes for sale. im thinking of getting a large bottom roller setup, that will better fit my space, so seeing if there is any interest in these. 1. top/bottom combo on right in picture its the newer of the 2 boxes 8 drawer, plus a pull out storage deal does have alot of stickers on it, but i am in the process of removing them $180 2. top/bottom combo on left, 7 drawer, $150
  5. thanks.. its till in the works. gotta do my work bench and bar tops in metal. gonna put a few more of the track systems up in various places. also wanna add some heavy duty hanging shelving somewhere. other things as well, i have so many ideas in my head. i jsut want spring/summer to get here so i can do the floor
  6. detached 22x20.. its about 100 feet from the house or so. heating isnt to bad since its completely insulated. installed a ventless wall mount heater today.. 30k BTU with blower. A 100lb tank sits outside the garage. first time installing one of these. wasnt to bad drilling through the wall was quick work with a Hilti and a 36" bit installed a shut off valve right below the heater. fired it up and it works great!. puts out tons of heat. heated the garage to 70 degrees in no time
  7. Im opting for a bike lift instead of a stripper pole
  8. i have been. its been alot of fun though. and i have learned some things while doing it.. im gonna be stoked come summer when i can get the floor done.. it will really bring the whole project together
  9. I will probably paint the stools, but im up in the air about it right now
  10. well almost finished up with the bar build. i have a few more touches to add to it, then it will be ready to rock. i have to put the stainless steel top on it ,as well as my work bench (will be doing next weekend) i will also be adding something to the front of the bar, not sure yet but i have some ideas.. i got all my cabinet doors installed on the work bench as well the bar is pretty cool, 42" high 18" deep with a 3" over hang on the front. i built a shelf setup along the wall the attaches to the bar, same height. to hold bottle, glasses or whatever. i installed my mini fridge into the back of the bar so its nice and tidy and out of the way. i also left a spot open behind the bar for my cooler, so i can fill it with ice and beer if need be all in all it came out like i wanted it to. i scored some wooden bar stools with backs for the bar, and then 2 round chrome bar stools for the work bench (the seat pads need recovered) anywho on to the pics.. total cost of the build for the bar thus far is about $100
  11. go to you pull it.. im sure thay have one.. they have ton of older f150s down there
  12. locally i dont know.. maybe try radio shack.. outside of that i have no idea.. online looks to be the only place i see to get it
  13. you should be using a very stiff closed cell foam for your bottom layer, then use medium density foam (either closed cell or open cell) for second layer 3rd layer or top layer should be softer open cell foam, then use a thin layer of finishing foam to smooth the top out. some people even use a foam thats similar to wet suit material for the finish layer, its water proof stuff. on the DIY sight they should have some stuff about how to layer, and how to bucket the seat or level it out. as well as where to relief the seat in certain areas where pressure point are and fill them with softer foam deeper into the seat foam.
  14. thats what its for.. workin on the bike, and hangin out. oh and the wife hangs out in there as well
  15. lol thanks.. will look even better once i get it all finished and cleaned up i have to wait till summer to do the floor. i still have a bar im gonna build yet as well.
  16. more progress on the garage as of lately. more paint.. splash of color this time, hate on the color i bought some shelving to hang my DVR and Speakers for the TV (kobalt track system) as well as the track sysytem and hooks to hang my bike stands and what not. ill be adding another track and some more hooks and stuff for my buffers. and the main thing i worked on last night along with what i have stated above is my workbench/lower cabinet i built. its pretty beasty, its 9 foot long on the back wall and 4.6 foot long on the side wall. i still have to mount my other cabinet doors i made, and i am going to do a stainless, or diamond plate wrap for the top a too. sweet thing about this cabinet/workbench, is my air compressor slide in the part thats along the side wall. and the end is a door, so when i need it , i open door and pull it out, and when its not in use i leave it in the cabinet, so the garage maintains a cleaner look.

I have never had moisture problems with any unvented heater i have ran before. Per that link you sent me i should have had moisture issues with my kerosene heater, which i did not. And i have ran it 7 - 10 hours at a time
