your better off doing a chrome exchange, or just powder coating, either black or you can get a chrome powder coating that will come out kind of more polished aluminum looking. if you do polish your wheels they will go to hell really quick unless you keep up on them

youll need to strip the clear off them first. then have fun.. it will take forever

doubtful fury wheels will fit fury front wheel is a 21. doubt that will fit under the front fender, also fury is a single disc brake, so youd have to go to a single disc up front rear would definately not fit. its alot wider wheel than a vtx1300, and being shaft driven, you probably couldnt make it work even if it would clear the swing arm.

one of my big things is, i want to limit my layers. i hate layering up, i hate the restricted movement. im thinking heated vest / jacket liner and gloves should do wonders i like the battery powered stuff, but i hate the idea of having to charge them all the time, and then what if im out on a long ride and the batteries died.. that would suck

oh yeah lol.. have fun youll be unimpressed with the power, but the comfort and the tunes will have you smiling

what brand are you using why is one brand better than the other would just a heated vest do me good? or should i look into a jacket liner? my thought is keeping your core warm will keep the rest of you warm. heated gloves... get them? or not necessary? id really like to extend my riding season, and i have been wanting some heated gear for a while. but just couldnt bring myself to pull the trigger yet. i hear once you get heated gear, you never look back.

that should work for you. if you do need more fuel then that kit can be adjusted via the clip on the needle. but for you idle/off idle the adjustment of the pilot screw should be more than enough. i havent seen a bike that did just air cleaner / pipes, that needed to jump up the pilot jet. all youl lbe doing is adjusting the pilot screw, installing a different main jet, and the dynojet needle.
