  1. i did a few little things to the R6 tonight, so i figure id make a little video. basically all i did was install a 12v all weather outlet on the bike to use in conjunction with my smart phone. that way when im using it as my MP3/nav i can keep it charged up, or if i take a weekend trip my phone can charge on the bike. next i have flush mount turn signals on the bike, but i know they are probably hard to see from the front, so i put some 194 sockets in the headlights and fitted them with LED bulbs. looks pretty trick, and they function well, and make it safer to ride. you tube video can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AddYu4O2NZs
  2. again... im getting dynotuned before the dyno day.. this is a dyno tune session im doing with him, not just a couple of runs.. but brian i think im just gonna delete the PAIR valve all together.
  3. The guys that are doing the tattoo (sleeve) on my arm, used to work at high street tattoo. they have since quit there and started there own shop up. they are having a grand opening type thing this satruday around 8:30 p.m. im sure there will be some beers and what not to have. the new shop is called Sovereign Collective the location 1042 N. High st. its a tattoo shop and are art gallery.
  4. sounds sweet. ill have to suggest this top my buddy. i really really like that bike.. nice job!
  5. your a douche but i agree with this
  6. first off i never asked for info about those tires here, i did my own research. you dont seem to have any legit experience with these tires. if these tires end up being junk for the type of riding im doing fine. but to flat out say they arent gonna be good is rediculous. every ones style of riding is different. and serisouly you cant honestly say that these tires will not be able to do posted speed limits in turns your a fucking idiot.
  7. ill call or shoot you a PM either on here or CR and we can set somethign up. what do you think about the "PAIR " valve deal should we pinch off the lines to get the correct a/f or should i try to take it out all together??
  8. i love my icon, its no shoei, but the interior of it is great, the 09 icons (like mine) have the hydra dry liner, very very comfy
  9. not everyone rides as aggressive as you. jesus christ, i havent been on this site that long, but every time i see a post from you its bashing anyone who doesnt buy the top of the line shit. and mostly because you think everyone is dragging knee on the street or doing a track day. im not gonna track day the bike and im not gonna ride overly aggressive. as are some other people on this board. i wanted to try these tires out cause i heard good reviews, and they are a good price. im gonna be doing alot of traveling, alot of flat miles. more touring than anything, with some twisties mixed in (nothing to aggressive though) from the reviews you can get some good mileage from the tire, and they do still stick pretty well. i am cheap, but i could have bought any set of tires i wanted, i choose to try these out. LET IT BE man. i know your trying to give incite, but sometimes you come across pretty brash and on a high horse.
  10. and here is the rest of that reveiw
  11. ok here is a nice test/review write up on these tires
  12. ok here is a nice test/review write up on these tires
  13. i have the Shinko Advance.. got them from the pony.. the rear is not as round as other tires, but for the riding im gonna be doing this year, alto of commuting back and fourth to work, long trips, i think these will do me well. i looked at alot of reveiws, and its about 50/50 soem guys love them, other hate them most people who hate them either 1. never tried them or 2. are people who ride track days ALOT. i havent really got to get into the tires yet, but the little riding i did on them they were great, seem to heat up decently quick, and the grip was pretty good. will i go with a different tire next year?? i dunno we will see how these pan out, and if i decide to get a little more aggressive with my riding style. found this info out as well.. shinko sided with yokohama and obtained their tread molds as well as the same materials used
  14. you should get that frame powdercoated black as well..
  15. flat black cans would look great! for some reason i really like that bike. im a fan of the VFRs but yours has a very different look than any other i have seen. got a sound clip with those pipes?? and what exactly did you do to the pipes?
  16. i know this is a little old, but i just love watching these videos.. incredible to say the least.. and all on a R1 different dude, same concept Sjaak lucassen
  17. im over this cold weather BS.. i want to get out and ride. having the bike sit in the garage is making me spend more money on it. let it be 60 or above soon!

    Iron Pony

i disagree. bought a pair of 09 alpinestar boots online. pony had them for 169.99 plus tax. i got mine for $130 shipped. i saved over $50 (after tax) thats a huge savings!! iron pony is a nice big dressing room for gear that being said they dont have to lower prices there, they are the largest powersport accessory stores around. they have the largest selection. if you cant wait for something to be shipped to you, then youll bu at the pony. if you can and want it cheaper youll buy online.
  19. im not getting just a dyno run, he is gonna tune my power commander
  20. anyone have these, or know someone who has these. i really like the look of them, and i think they will offer a really nice level of protection over the riding jeans, or ballastic textile.
  21. i think so, but thanks for the link again, thats a great price on those bar ends
  22. yeah they look thick, but they arent. like i said maybe just a tad thicker than OEM grips but not noticeable.
  23. im almost positive it is, he dynos during the winter.
  24. sweaty hand i dont think ill worry about, since i wear gloves 100% of the time. rain on the other hand, interesting point. i guess ill have to see, the actually gel/rubber part is super grippy so i dont know.
