  1. I see. I've never even priced pads as I've always just bought EBC. Somewhat negligent I suppose, considering I like to be pretty knowledgeable in the field.
  2. I don't think there's much of a reason to spend $60-70 on a set of pads for general street use. EBC will work just fine and they're only $30. I'm sure I'm going to get some arguement from someone about that statement.
  3. Big Bang Theory, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer
  4. Umm that will be 3 that I own. Used to be 4, but I gave my sister hers back.
  5. That looks like a pretty cool product, the $175 price tag is a bit hefty, but on the other hand safety cost money. Interesting product.
  6. Not sure if you'll ever find them, but I've got a pair of Icon Timax pants that I like a lot. Icon Timax pants
  7. Darn woman wouldn't put out... I'm feeling insensitive today... This is sad though, thoughts go out to all parties involved.
  8. 93-02 ZX-6R 05-08 ZZR600 ZX11's I'm not sure of year range... 1996 ZX11 fuel pump fiche Those I know for sure, beyond that I'd have to do more research however.
  9. I don't expect to be out either. I may be getting a new helmet for my birthday though... I'm a helmet whore and I love it.
  10. Mounting is a bit tricky, they supply a RAM mount. I didn't have a good place to mount it, that's when I decided to customize. You are just gonna have to get it and see what you can do about mounting. Creativity may be an option.

  11. Yep, that's all. So by setting the speedohealer to derestrict you can go above 186? I didn't know that if that's what you're saying. The Veypor gives an accurate speed reading because it is reading directly off of the rear wheel. So unless, as I questioned, the Speedohealer actually eliminates that speed restriction you don't need it. Also just so you're aware, I'm not sure how much you studied mine, I have the VR2. The differences are small, but I wanted it all.

  12. I would if I didn't have a Veypor. Brad might be, although he's got a speedo-healer on his bike already... cattmouch?? jarvis?
  13. Correcting a technicality...Some carbed bikes do have fuel pumps.
  14. You pull your clutch in, you let your clutch out you pull your clutch in, and your bike shakes violently about. you do the hokey pokey and spin your bike around and that's what it's all about.
  15. Every year around this time I ask myself why I live here. I still don't have an answer and I still live here though... We've got a 6-7 month (roughly) motorcycle riding season. In order to find good roads to ride or a track we have to travel at least 2 hours. The closest decent body of water (for waterskiing, etc) is 4 hours away. (Lake Cumberland). We barely get enough snow in the winter to go skiing once. It's not even practical to buy a snowmobile because you have to go so far to use it. Dayton has nothing fun or exciting to offer. There's nowhere of any substance to do any really good hiking or mountain biking. There's probably more...I'm feeling pessimistic today.
  16. I've been sick for 10 months...head crap...I'm just used to it now.
  17. NinjaNicks ride... He's just special, you'll get used to him. And on topic, it is a sweet driveway, can't be big enough for bikes though. Probably go-karts or NSRs. A magnificent waste of money that if I had would I do the same thing with. I'd be pissed though that my address is posted on forums across the entire stinkin internet now showing that I have a track in my front yard...Can you imagine all the local unwanted company he might be getting?
  18. Just a final comment on HNW. I worked there as a tech for 6 months and the techs they currently have there now are all good techs. You can expect good honest work from them. So despite the money, know that you will be getting excellent work done. Combined they've got over 50-60 years of experience working on motorcycles. Currently, since it's winter, there is only one working. Come spring time they'll have at least 3. Those 3 are the most experienced.
  19. I think there are enough people on this forum that can talk you through those. Those are pretty easy to do. A lot of people here have a strong mechanical background, myself included. If you are uncomfortable doing any of them there's probably someone that would be willing to even help you. If you want to drive to the Dayton area I have a shop and can do the work as well. Don't go to a shop just because you don't know, you can find the information to do it or find someone that can help you. Or as I said if you really are unsure find someone, other than a shop, that can do it with you.
  20. Post urination on the Foothills Parkway, returning from Deals Gap.
