  1. You can do it, no issues. I rode from Nov. 05 - Jan 07 non stop. Especially after mid-July 06 when my truck was stolen and my motorcycle was my only transportation.
  2. Don't get in over your head. I pay mine off in full monthly.
  3. I like my Chase rewards at the moment, but I also haven't searched much lately.
  4. "BK Super Seven Incher" http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,529576,00.html?mep
  5. Good luck with the school. From first hand experience, ask tons of questions and apply yourself as much as possible or it's not worth it. If you have the opportunity to have a garage for your bike take it. Theft is rediculous out there. Don't count on the HR buffoons to help you out. the housing coordinators are only fair and when you are close to graduating do your own job searching, don't let them do it all for you like they say. You'll have better results finding a job on your own. Finally there are no good roads until you're about an hour out of the city. Any direction North or East you'll find good roads and cooler temps to the North.
  6. I have nothing of value to add to this thread, but why on earth are you moving to Hells asshole? I spent 15 months there and that was plenty.
  7. Estimates as I don't have the info in front of me. $300/yr ZX6-R $250/yr House $750/yr Car Full coverage on everything with Allstate I'm 24, male, and I approve this message.
  8. I didn't read much of this thread, but I'll buy it period...if you won't buy it, give me the contact info.
  9. This week is out for me, last week of the quarter at work...That could mean I don't leave until 6-7-8-or 9.
  10. It's cool. *trying to keep mind out of gutter*
  11. I think that works. Check your PM shortly.
  12. Amy's sister isn't named Christie by chance?
  13. You can have it. Man above has first dibs. I'm about 15 miles north of Dayton.
  14. Bump...Since my other thread is being posted for people wanting a tire...
  15. This tire is gone...This thread is from July of last year. I've got another thread floating around with a 190 rear...lemme see if I can find it.
  16. Ah, Tom, I knew you'd jump in eventually. You have certainly reinforced what I wasn't sure of. Thank you for the information. Based upon your knowledge paired with my incredibly short span of knowledge, I think I'll likely stick with stock size and try out the Avon Azaro. I think radial is definitely a better choice over the bias ply. I've never ran Avon's or even thought much of them, but you listing them gives me confidence that it's a decent tire to try out. Thanks for your post.
  17. I'm not going to argue this to much, but I would like to say that on my 6R when I was living in AZ I went riding with 3 busas...there is a stretch of highway called the beeline from Payson, az to scottsdale, az. It's about 65 miles. My average speed down the mountain was in the 130-140mph range. Went from the top to the bottom in roughly 28 minutes. Lots of huge fast sweepers, some tight turns, and some straights. I won't lie, we raced down the mountain. It was stupid. But the point of the story, I ended up about 3 minutes ahead of all 3 busas at the bottom of the mountain. They were pretty good riders too. And I have absolutely no idea what the rest of this thread is about I just felt like talking about my beating busas at high speeds.
  18. Due to the fact that MJ is 99% plastic he will be melted down and turned into legos so little kids play with him for a change...
  19. Hmm...I hadn't seen that tire, and I have done a lot of searching around. I'll be looking into those and that very well could be the tire for this bike. I've never ran an Avon or even came close to them. Do they rate well compared to the big name brands?
  20. Yes that's exactly why... I could care less if he was the president, I'd say the same thing. Gas companies do the same thing...and everyone whines and moans about that...It's called price gouging when they do it.
  21. I know Tire Discounters has them. If you ask nicely and show them some moobage they might give you one... Or if Chris Hall is working tell him your a friend of Dustin Snell..that might inspire him to give you one. Worst case I'm assume any auto parts store carries them in packs of 2-3 for a couple bucks probably.
  22. I'm having a hard time finding a radial. I can get a radial for the rear size, but that 110/80 front is giving me troubles. I guess my other option is to change the front tire size to accomodate a radial size. I'm not sure how much I'd have to change and/or what the effect is going to be.
  23. I've found myself to be indecisive and quite stubborn... I'm having a hard time picking out a set of tires for this 1990 Hurricane I'm working on. Tires are a bit hard to come by and there are a variety of factors to consider. The vast majority are bias ply. So anyone have some experience or insight as to which of these is better and why? Also if you have a suggestion that I didn't list please list what and why. Dunlop GT501 - bias ply, V rated Avon Am26 - bias ply, pretty sure, V rated Michelin Pilot Activ - bias ply, H rated Shinko SR740 - not sure, V rated Front 110/80/17 Rear 140/80/17 Finally, I don't care to read the unintelligent "get a pilot power, they are teh winnar" I'm looking for knowledge...I know someone on here has some (reconrat) not to mention names.
