Retreads=fail. My tire of choice is the Pirelli diablo strada. I got 9K out of my last set. I've got close to 3K on my current set and still have lots of life left. I've heard really good things about the Michelin PR2 and the Dunlop roadsmarts too though.

Yeah, as soon as I get it running. The carb's are way off, so I think some adjustments and a good cleaning will get them looking good. I need to buy some new carb boots for it. The valves need adjusted. Gotta get a set of tires. Those are the big things. Once it's road ready Jennifer will be riding. Then all I have left to do is collect my money from her Although if at any point she decides she doesn't want it, I'll make some money on it. I'm pretty sure I got a nice deal on it.

Oh I'll admit on Saturday I was definitely squidly. I rode up with just a helmet and gloves. She had just a helmet on. I didn't feel like trying to store jackets or carrying them around so I did without. The bed races are never too exciting and the car show is laughable, but it was something to do on a Friday night.

I pretty much suck at reviews, however my dad has the new concourse. He loves it. He had a different seat put on it, added a throttle lock, got a different windscreen, and slapped a set of michelin PR2 on it. He absolutely loves the bike. It's got plenty of power, I've raced him head to head on my 600 and he pulls me on the low end, but catches back up on top. If your looking for brute power he can pull the front end off the ground with ease. He just left on Monday for a 2K or so mile ride to Deals gap and around the area. So there's something on the Concourse, I'm sure you'll get the ZX guys commenting shortly.

I'm not buying at all, just piqued my interest...I'm going to do some more research on them to see if there is any factual information I can learn.
