Im pretty sure I puked in my mouth when I saw that.. that thing looks disgusting. exhaust looks like shit, turn signals = shit, and even their wannabe wave rotors look horrible.. but it looks like I am the only one who doesnt like this overall design. Honda is about the only ones who make a good looking liter bike..with the exception of Ducati b/c they have the 1098 and that isnt fair lol

Yea I dont do anything crazy with mine, just a few back trails here an there, have been way too busy with bikes and school to do much at all with it for a few years. As far as the rust and stuff I am fine. Everything is just on the surface and there isnt much of it at all. If it sells it sells, if not I will have it for the winter which is always a good thing thomez's make mine look bad lol.. as for reliability I personally think it doesnt get much more reliable. Although the year you are looking for, the new four door unlimited version, they went from the 4.0L I6 to a V6 of some sort so I cant really speak for them. I know I have never had any problems with mine mechanically.

yea this is why I am torn as to how much to ask.. its a little newer than your and has the better engine but needs work...even though it would only cost $200 to replace the fender and the bumper. I figure $3500 is a fair price. plus the I6 will last an eternity. these things are a blast though arent they?!

Think they should have done a yellow black flame version on the R1.

Need to pay off some bills and get something more commuter friendly so here it is Nearly stock 93 YJ with 181,xxx miles on the body and around 60,000 on the I6 engine. I have both tops, Bestop sail-cloth soft top which is only a year old and never seen the winter. The hard top is an Iron Horse aftermarket top but has some stress cracks in the fiberglass, still seals tight though. Interior is in OK condition, a few stains but no rips or much wear at all. Lid to the center console is broken. Has fairly new Mickey Thompson rims but needs tires. Also has 3/4" Lift shackles. Body has a couple of surface rust spots but nothing bad. Floor boards are solid. Front drivers fender needs replaced along with the bumper. Rebuilt salvage title... this is why I am unsure of the value. this is the only picture I have right now. beast loves the mud Great for winter NADA puts it at $4000+ on the low side Thinking about asking around $3500 for it. What do you think its worth?

thanks Pedro, they are pulled straight from yamaha's website so if you want more pics go there. as for the price, Yamaha has ALWAYS been high, I would expect it to be near the top, maybe right behind Honda's CBR price wise

haha, wow..sorry I borught this thread in. the e-penis' were gowing at an alarming rate lol thanks for kissing and making up guys
-
..thats why I was saying to rely on the experts b/c they would know before any of us
-
the throttle glitch bs was fixed, so that isnt a big deal IMO. I agree with Cleaner, I would rely on these "experts" before my own opinion. I hav eonly ridden my R6 and a same year GSXR-600 and everything the experts talk about are definately noticeable so.. I am just saying visually, Yamaha has its shit together, peformance wise, it could use a little kick in the ass.

the town is just smaller than you thought, 50-60 per graduating class...plus he is a cool guy. Was actually pretty good friends with him in high school. I was a couple years behind him. Played football together etc... he will know who I am, tell him Tony from P-Town said Hi

Sheely?

I know quite a few people that work at the Willard RR, PM me and I can name drop lol But anyway, back to the bike... This thing is seriously flawless and I think he is taking offers so send them my way if your interested. Dont low ball, its insulting. We all know about what they are worth so lets keep it respectable.

+11 billion... the thing is I dont see why it hasnt happened. if you have moto gp bikes out there running on 800cc and pushing 200+ HP then why cant Yamaha be a little more generous in the performance department. Its easily doable if they want to fork out the cash
-
damn you Yammy haters lol...although the YZ are da bomb, cant totally discount all of Yamaha's bikes. IMO they are the best looking sportbikes available. maybe I am biased lol
-
niice, where did you find that pic putty?
-
probably that plastic film that they put on cars and such when shipping, keep from scratching
-
Found this on another board hard to see but it doesnt look bad IMO
-
mine or the seller... I grew up in Plymouth, seller is from Shelby though. Who do you know from Shelby? The seller's dad owns a lot of businesses in Shelby and the majority of them were ruined by the flood. His house was flooded too...basement filled to the floor joices. I was thinking around 7k as well Lizard, hate to see him take a hit like that on it though, only downside to financing our toys I guess

anyone have an idea as to how much you guys think he can get out of this? realistically?
-
www.r1-forum.com probably have more luck there
-
is there an entry fee as well on top of the $10? like, if your not running anything do you have to pay to watch?
-
..just PMed you, didnt even see this until today. Sorry I missed you guys though. On a brighter note, I went to see Super Bad on Friday and it was the funniest shit I have seen in a long time. would definately recommend it to everyone!

Again, does anyone know anything on the status of having current ticket holders getting their tickets switched over to the group buy? I want the free parking and ride on the track!
