  1. That is suckey craptastic! Good job Obama! Keep our nations Military, er Welfare paid well.
  2. Agreed, knowing and going, then whining is stupid. However the whole BMI thing to begin with is retarded. Who gives a shit how fat Billy Bob looks in his XXXXL gown. If he wants to eat and be fat that is up to him and not the college. Just like a smoker, if they want to smoke that is their choice and the college is not sending smokers to a class on that.
  3. I serve in the Army for people to have the right to be as fat as they want, not for someone to tell them how they should be. Pure bull shit if you ask me. Make all the smokers take a quitting class too? And all the drinkers go to AA? That College = fail!
  4. Robert J Hawkins is my real name, Im the one at 350 Cleveland ave in Westerville. Retail IT devision.

  5. I hope it does not turn out like the Military hospitals I had to attend while on active duty. I took my 4yr old daughter to the ER for a laceration on her head and waited 3 hours to be seen. That is one example of many visits to the hospital or clinics where myself, or my family, was treated badly or just received poor service. It was the worst medical care ever at Reynolds Army Community Hospital on Fort Sill in OK. Govt run medical is a bad idea in my opinion, based on the experience I have had in the military. Which I am assuming that the low cost insurance option will allow individuals to attend similar clinics to the military ones.
  6. John who? I work in Retail IT support also... small world

  9. Robert: At age 52 you will drown in a wading pool under mysterious circumstances. The only clue will be a small blue pacifier found around your neck.

  12. Orders are the foundation of our Military, all branches, and those who cannot follow them should not be in the Military. I have followed many blind orders, in Iraq none the less, while none were unlawful or put me in a position to questions why. Basic Military, Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, and Seamen, all must be able to follow orders without question, or people die. I personally would have the prayers removed completely and would have let the young man step away if he asked.
  13. But if they dont believe in any God and asked to not be a part of the prayer, would you let them?
  14. My current Chaplin is Muslim, he holds, and teaches, what ever faith the individuals in our unit seek out. He does profess he is a Muslim. I have served in the Military for many years and in some units, not all, it is forced just to listen. Being forced to even listen to a faith that you do not agree with is not becoming of a military leader in my opinion. This “suck it up” attitude does not fit if you look what you joined for. Just because you are protecting another persons freedoms does not mean you should lose your own. Never have I EVER seen a written SOP for mandatory prayer at any event, it is more tradition. I pray in my own way during these events, ignoring the Christian words from most Chaplins. As stated before, I would never force a Soldier to stay at prayer if he felt he/she needed to step away, I would allow it. He/She as earned the same rights that they fight for, they don’t need to “suck it up.”
  15. Wandering into a public place and overhearing praying is much different then being forced to listen to it. I always hate being at the ceremonies and when they do the whole "let us pray" thing and all Soldiers must bow their heads... the only good thing about our Chaplin was he would state to pray to your god of choosing if you did not want to follow along. I 'am a superior in the Army and would never force any religion on my troops, if they asked to leave the area respectfully I would let them. Instructing them to observe for it to be over from a distance and then return for the activities. No one, Soldier or not, should have any religion forced upon them.
  16. I cant stop staring at that dude's avatar....
