I wouldn't say that, I would say it would be a close game. Ohio States defense would have kept them in the game. The 1998 defense was pretty stout with Nail Diggs, Andy Katzenmoyer, Ahmed Plummer, Damen Moore, and the best DB ever played at Ohio State, Antoine Winfield.

Why we need a 8 team playoff!!!! 5 conf champions gets automatic bids. 3 goes to at large bids, goes to the 3 teams with impressive records and big money rich fan base. So it goes to Oregon, FSU and tOSU. Ohio State has the largest fan base in the country. It would be stupid to not put Ohio State in the playoffs.

Wasn't it just last year that you said that you had no loyalties, your fiancee was a Bama fan and you were rooting for Auburn. Now you are a hardcore Alabama fan. You don't become a fan like that over night unless you jump on the bandwagon. Many of these guys didn't go to Ohio State. FYI Ohio State is my Alma mater. But I was an Ohio State fan before I attended Ohio State. I grew up in Columbus. Many of the guys here grew up in Columbus or lived in Columbus for a long time. Ohio State is a home town team. It is definitely not the same as jumping on the Alabama bandwagon because your wife said so.

Wisconsin would be a top 15 team if they were in the SEC. They have two quality losses, 1 against mighty LSU, who has 4 quality losses, and 1 against NW, who just beat a ND, who has 2 quality losses against FSU and ASU. Because the quality of losing matters in the SEC.
