I won't shoot steel through my AR or any guns I own. So brown bear, wolf are all out of the question.

I am picking up a case of ammo for my AR15s and have found 2 pretty good deals. Vances has PMC .223 ammo for 379.99 per case 1000 Wallyworld has Federal FMJ .223 for 399.90 per case or 1000 Both are 55 grain and brass. Should I just go with the cheaper PMC? or is the Federal worth the extra 20 bucks.

yeah, if you can get all the water out i mean every single drop it should turn on again. You might have to clean the laser/lense though.
