  1. I would like to make it up to Mansfield this year, never been. I thought they weren't doing the one in Bangs anymore b/c the building has been rendered unsafe and they moved that one to some lameass place downtown. Anyway, I'm looking for the REAL haunted houses (or supposedly real for you skeptics), not just the ones that show up around Halloween. Anybody know of any?!
  2. Just as well Carrie did not shoot that one, looks like it would have hurt
  3. If I had a flair side would I be able to put good anchor points on the top of the side walls? So they would not be on the flood but 2 feet higher up & the just one anchor in the middle on the floor AND maybe strap the fork together?
  4. I also just found this on a F150 site Bed Dimensions - - - - - Short Bed Flareside - - - Short Bed Styleside Length (in.) - - - - - - - - - - 78.8 - - - - - - - - - - - 78.8 Width at Wheelwell (in.) - - 50 - - - - - - - - - - - - - 50 Width at Wall (in.) - - - - 59.7 - - - - - - - - - - 65.2 So the width between the walls is not quite 6" total & the wheelwell width is still the same on both
  5. Thats what I thought. On the TSBR site this was one reply to: I fit my 929rr and 1100xx in my 1993 s-10 short bed I would think a F-150 Flare Side would be at least a wide as a S10
  6. Why not a Flair Side? Is the bed to narrow?

  8. In England a guy just got caught speeding in a Porsche. It is the fastest anyone (in a car) has been caught for speeding in England, 172mph He took the card from his work on his day off after his boss had told him he was not aloud to for any reason take it out. He lost his licence, got jail time, major fines & lost his job.... sucks to be him The fasted a bike has been caught over there was 178 on a ZZR1100 I think it was.

  11. I dont need the straps & stuff right now. I'm just thinking ahead. I want to get a truck & think it would be nice & easy to put the bikes in it if/when we go away etc. (Dragon tail, Daytona, Sturgis who knows) Thanks for the offers though.
  12. All sounds good. Can anyone also recomend any types of tie downs or wheel chock's or are there any to avoid?
  13. I'm thinking of something like a Ford F-150 / 250 for Dodge Ram 1500/2500 that king of size, Not like a Ford Ranger.
  14. Can you fit 2 average sport bike side by side (and still have them strapped down) in a long bed pick up?

Who's gonna be at shell at 7 & who's gonna meet at QS&L later?
  20. How about a Suzuki SV650 or SV1000? I must say, I am proud of you. You are leaving the way of the NINJA & crossing over to the NAKED side... lol
  21. The place in Delaware provides a bike, most are 250cc either kind of MX/duel purpose or cruiser types. They do an advanced course which you need your own bike for. I may go for that after a while. I'm not sure about the BMV test, I'd guess that you would need your own bike.
  22. It seems like there are more than a few people out there with only temps riding on highways, after dark, with passengers etc. If i'm not wrong it is the test thing that only cost $25? My wife passed first time with NO motorcycle experience at all so I dont see what the big deal is, It takes 3 days & $25 so why is it even a issue? Go do the test.. (the one is Deleware is not nearly as full as the Franklin County one either)
