The oil issue is fixed & it was just the washer on the drain plug net set 100% right. The main issue is: "Now bike is idling high when handle bars turned one way, and way too low when turned the other way." What would make the idle speed drop when the bars are turned to the left the raise a lot when turned to the right? It is 1000+ rpm difference.

MCN is (as far as I know) a British paper, do you know if these colors are just the British ones or the US ones to? I think the white one look cool

I wouldn't want to use mine at first as I do not want to crash it, as I said. When I am more sure of my own ability riding faster & cornering etc then maybe but I dont think a Z1000 was design as a track bike.

Does anyone know of any places where you can do a track day (very begginer) & not use (or crash) your own bike?

Ok people be careful of the new road layout going from I-270W onto I-71N. The road is a little crappy as you pull off 270 heading towards the new bridge then there are pretty noticeable bumps at the beginning & end of the bridge (like a lot of them) THEN just when you think oo that was fun & you start to look to merge onto 270 there are TWO lane height changes of about an inch or so each the are pretty much parallel to you as you cross lanes causing a pretty bad tire-in-groove style wobble, not what you want when getting on a highway. I'm sure they will fix the 2 steps sometime in the next 4-5 years or so..... maybe, We all know how good Columbus is for road works.

Kawasaki designers really dropped the ball with this one. Get a grip designers, who on earth is this really aimed at? Blind people with no taste in bikes?

I prefer the undertail to. I'd lose a little performance to have a better looking exhaust, I huess thats why I still have my stock quad gold pipes & not a (boring) single sided single can.

We did have 3 bikes but one wrecked so cant make it. We have my black Z1000 & Tony's orange Triumph Speed Four so far. If you have a naked bike or streetfighter that you think would be a nice contrast with these two, let me know. I have the month already sorted with Sonny from TSBR & I have a very good photographer (Ace140). It is only $40 total so if you want to put your bike in PM me with rough idea of your work hours so me can try to get everyone together at the same time. If not it will just be me & Tony.
