Thought about that, but didn't want to cut through all 3 layers of foam to go that route. Was simple enough to do the minor cutout and go sideways to ensure no movement. It's going to be dedicated for the AR only so I just wanted a few mags loaded with it and the rest in my vest. 11 Pmags and 4 PSA Mags would have looked stuffed in there I think.

Columbus has always taken "priority" runs only when they get busy and in bad weather. It's not anything new unfortunately. Sorry about your accident, but the other driver is required to provide you with information for whom he is and his insurance information. Name/Driver's License # Insurance Card info-Agency/Policy number. If you don't have all of that then I would contact them back and request an accident and or hit-skip accident report after the weather stops to verify all the information.

Finally got the case foam done and some of the mags installed. I'll probably leave the rest alone for other things and put the other 5 Pmags in my Tac Vest. Leaning towards ordering a Savvy Sniper 1 point sling and be done with it for now. Pelican 1740 Long Case, Gen3 30rnd Pmag.

Guess I could add my new addition that finally came in a few days ago. Almost finished with a few parts still on the way. DDMV7 5.56, MBus Gen2 Front/Rear, Aimpoint Pro, TLR-1s, Magpul AFG2

These were my back-up set with rain tires mounted and moderately used. They do have scratches/wear marks on the edges from wheel changes over the last few years. The front wheel had a rotor bolt strip out and repaired and can be seen in the pictures. Rims and Rotors were measured within spec. Asking $475 shipped for the set. $450 for pick-up. Includes: Front Wheel, Both Rotors and Side Collars Rear Wheel, Rotor, Sprocket Carrier, (6) Rubber Dampers, Both Side Collars SOLD

Build thread. Crate to racebike in how many steps???
SJC1000rr replied to Moto-Brian's topic in Track is Crack
Livin, Brian knows a thing or two about racing/bikes and is probably one of the most knowledgeable persons on this board. I know your offering constructive help & advice....but he knows what he's are doing and getting into. Since we know him personally, we'll just let him reply. -
I'm back to looking at tires myself. I've used a few different ones and use tirerack for reviews also. OEM was the Pirelli scorpion ATR and they were ok. They were a softer tire and went fast and were done by 30k miles though. Next I got Yokohama Geolander ATR's and got about 40k before they were done. They rode well and got better mpg due to a lighter tire, but by 50% tread the water/snow traction was really reduced. I'll probably try Mastercraft or Tokyo next. Though I'm considering Michelin MS2 or Firestone Destinations. I had experience with my old 04 Colorado, but it had 15" rims. The Goodyear Silent Armor's did pretty well, but lost some MPG due to it being a heavier tire.

Interesting challenge and shirt lol. Nick, I would definitely consider a Endurance team or runs, but I'm definitely not on anyone's ride list. Maybe if one of us did it, but that's about it. And if anyone needs help or suggestions I'll always offer help or advise and try to get anyone on the right track to improvement. Even work with anyone on suspension give advise for new guys, lord knows Mikey needed it at PIRC last year with his pogostick! John, definitely appreciate the offer bud. Just hope everything goes smoothly with you both! Can always gimme a ring if ya need anything as always. Just gonna fix up the house, finish out my AR build and look for a decent track bike that has the base goodies for next year.

Nothing in my price range thats worth a crap. I've been keeping my eyes out for a while. Just going to save up all summer and hopefully snag something end of season and work on it all winter most likely. Have to relearn everything with a new model also (R6)...le`sigh.

Enjoy the time out there reguardless if your plate is yellow or white and make the best of it...even if it means to have more competition then you would like. Thats part of the fun of advancing and pushing yourself and others. I renewed my license for this year, but just sold the bike so looks to be a dead season for me. See you all in 2014 most likely ..with my yellow plate

Power down and press both volume up/down and power. I believe the bot shows on the screen and hit both volimbe keys to move on. Then use volume down button to get to recovery and then press volume up to select. Once at the recovery screen, volume down to delete cache partition and power button. Once wiped, reboot.

Barrnicale Bill is who I've sent my suit to for repairs and cleaning. He's very affordable and does a good job. He's out of the Kentucky area also. Other then that, Alexa at Spyderleatherworks does a good job also....but is probably backed up a bit. (Out of Wisconsin)

Aye, Slightly faster and definitely not use to the new GUI for text/phone. Also the loss of the weather widget was annoying, but I replaced it with Weatherbug app.

Short answer, yes. I wouldn't go any lower then that fore sure. Driving record, age and bike type play a part in it all. But $600 for a reasonable safety net doesn't seem that bad to me for a 12 month policy.

I've had state farm for about 6 years now. I've had 1 bike, 1 truck and 1 Homeowners claim in that time and have ZERO complaints. The premiums went up as expected, but not beyond reason. I even got a full roof replacement (Base Wood/Facia/tar paper/etc) and upgraded to 3d shingles. I've had Farmers, Nationwide & Progressive before and think State Farm is the best thus far.

I believe the original name was Fasttrax. There is a Fast Track org also though. I'll give the WERA office a call tmrw and see what they say. They know who Motoseries is since it took the bulk of the NE/NC area schedule. And what Brian said! Run C/B superbike and maybe A if you want to have a big group race... did it back at the AMA RRGC and had a blast. CHAPTER SEVEN RIDER and CREW REQUIREMENTS 2. Have a current, valid WERA Competition License or other racing license designated as valid at a particular race. Only WERA Licensed riders will earn points toward an invitation to the Grand National Final. WERA will allow racers with the following current licenses to participate in two WERA events before said racer is required to purchase a WERA membership: CMRA, RACE, WMRRA, OMRRA, CRA, USCRA, VRRA and AHRMA. Riders who participate in WERA events with another race organization’s license ARE NOT EARNING WERA POINTS. Points are only awarded to racers with a current WERA License. Contingency awards are only available to racers with a current WERA license. Endurance team riders must all have valid WERA licenses. Be nice if we could get MS in that list so its not up for debate, but I would think that with our current license we would be ok.

CHAPTER SEVEN RIDER and CREW REQUIREMENTS As of the current rulebook, they don't accept Motoseries as a recognized race school, so I would contact them about it if your considering this. For those of us with previous WERA license's, its probably just a renewal and so on. b) Successfully completing a WERA approved rider’s school. WERA recognizes the following motorcycle ROADRACING schools as the requirement for obtaining a Provisional Novice License: WERA New Riders’ School, Jason Pridmores STAR School, Fast Track Riders school, Ed Bargy’s Rider School, Kevin Schwantz Suzuki School, Corner Speed, Team Chicago School, F.A.S.T. (Canadian), CLASS, Team Hammer Advanced Riders’ School, Track Riders, MARRC, Freddie Spencer, Viking Race School, California Superbike (must take the classroom part of WERA’s school), RPM Track School, Ty Howards Racing School 35, Sportbike Track Time Pro School., Champion Sportbike Club, Wizard Racing School, & Penguin School. The length of time between taking the riders’ school and racing must not exceed twelve (12) months. If the school you have taken or wish to take is not listed call the WERA office to see if it has been approved since the printing of the rulebook or if it meets WERA requirments.

Not quite actually. The "Mini" license isn't a minature event license, its because WERA races "Mini" bikes also. CHAPTER NINE COMPETITION CATEGORIES a) There will be 2 WERA Mini’s classes as follows: Superbike 50 50cc - 65cc 2-stroke machines based on Superbike rules Up to 125cc 4-stroke machines based on Superbike rules Formula 80 66cc to 85cc 2-stroke machines based on Formula rules 126cc to 150cc 4-stroke mahcines based on Formula rules b) All machines and riders must conform to the rules as set forth in this rulebook. Exceptions may be made for technical/equipment requirements on a case by case basis Membership (Race License) - $110 good for one year from date of purchase. This is what you will need to race and as far as I can see, they don't offer a single or event only license, your either all in or nothing. So: Membership (Race License) - $110 Average Gate Fees - generally are $20 Riders School - $100 All Sprint Classes - 1st class entered -$85 pre entry and $95 post entry, 2nd class - $65 pre and $70 post, each additional class $55 pre entry and $60 post entry. Transponder Fees (all series) -Purchase - $425 or Rental - $60 per event.

It's a little more in depth, but still has the basics of what Motoseries goes by. Would be interested in going myself if I have the bike still. The race entry costs usually reduce as you enter more classes. Note though....WERA uses a superstock and superbike class. So you need to know which class you qualify for. SS can run both...but Sbk can't run in SS. I removed myself from SS with the brembo Master cylinder.

Both gets tickets imho. But what do I know.. Ps....El o el....

Actually I believe he was on the 2012 675 regular model since the RD 675R Motor's were off getting built! Keep up ya slacker!

Trying to figure out what size one-piece suit to buy....
SJC1000rr replied to Casper's topic in Track is Crack
I'm also suggesting a 48/58 Ben. I'm 6'2" 230ish and wear one about perfectly. Our measurements are fairly close with mine a little bigger in the waist. I loved my Astars, but would definitely suggest trying a suit on beforehand if you can.
