Heres my Rain video from Saturday in the Rain with Brandon in Tow for a bit. We were using rains of course. I got a 1:10 in the wet...so I'll be happy with that! As stated by all, it was a great weekend with Motoseries! Saturday was actually in in the rain (Rain tires helps! ) And Sunday proved to be a great time with everyone as I've come to expect. I got video of all the races, but then accidently deleted 600 Sbk Race 2 and Race 1 got messed up by fog on the lens of the GoPro and everything turning white by a few laps in. I did get Matt's signature two leg wheelie off the start though And I'm working on uploading and editing the Mini 20. That was by far one of the most fun races I've had in a while. The traffic was insane though and I wouldn't want to try that again to be honest. It just wasn't safe imho, but it does show the great racers and level heads of everyone in Motoseries, to be able to do what we did and no one crashed or ran into anyone. Videos to follow in a day or so since work and upload will take a few hours. Matt, good time as always and hope to see everyone else at Nelson soon!

Lol. At least I'm not the only one. John.....sorry about pissing the dog off when I got the warmers this morning. Gps says eta about 9 +/- not bad to make it in 3 Hrs.

Lol. Just gonna try and keep the shinny side up is my plan. Looks to be an "Interesting" weekend. Driving there solo isn't the best thing given conditions.

I've been reading over this thread with interest for next year maybe. I think I've narrowed it down to a FJR1300 or a C14. Thoughts? Just comes down to price and options mostly as with most things. Having always been on a Supersport, this will be a turn around for me some. But I'm now looking for something more comfortable and can take a passenger on without killing their ass an mine.

With the increasing amount of issues with Mid Ohio and the Surface, I can see this happening. How many crashes were there at this year AMA event with the 600s and so on. There needs to be some changes in policy and revamping of the surface in key area's to attract more people and races. You can youtube anything Mid Ohio + Rain and watch every sport there crashing and going off course.

Hope you bought soft tires and rains from the look of things. Glad I already have both! But seriously, consider the Pirelli's. I tried the rear the first time at Putnam and it seems to work. At least kept me in front of you!

I'm going with cold tire & cold track, rear spins instead of getting traction and down ya go. When tires and tracks are cold, you might as well have a solid block for a rear tire.

Im aware of the load rating scale. I checked both sides and theres nothing there. Just says Std load rating, which is why I added the weight.

I have 4 truck tires that I want to get rid of since they are taking space in my garage. They are all General Ameritrac's in size 245/70R17. They are 80%+ tread life/condition and can be checked out in the following photos. They were replaced early on by a set of BFGoodrich. SOLD!

Idk yet, I have the days off work and would like too. But I apparently haven't pre-registered for Rd 8+ so I'm going to have talk to Todd about my credits since the Rd 2 crash. I should have enough to cover me through the rest of the season.

Not sure if it fits your needs....but I'm in the process of making my own system also and are looking at the Denon 1612. Crutchfield has it for $229 with free shipping. Though now see it doesn't have multi room support. Will have to take a look at that one also!

Save it for PIRC Brian, no need for an extra trip down for it. I have 2 spares to use still since they were cheap on Amazon. Sucks about the RC8, hope you can get it sorted out before then and we can head over for more fun.
