i dont think he was talking about the SV specifically. he probably meant what he said: if you rush a sale as a buyer, you probably wont get the deal you were looking for or be happy about it.

and usually worth a good deal on the buyers behalf as well because of it.

no im in skating one. ive skated off and on for years, but never had any formal training. im probably the second best skater in the class, but he still pushes the more advanced people just as much as the newbs, so im always learning stuff. hes really helping me out with skating backwards and other simple stuff im not good at yet. i love it and go to free skate as much as i can. do you ever go to free skate?

POA is a tricky subject. i can only assume youre talking about a special POA that limits you from only doing this one thing in his name. if he is stupid enough to give you unlimited POA then you can do anything in his name. buy a house, open 12 credit cards, empty his bank accounts etc... if it was you giving out your POA i would tell you to be careful, but since its the other guy, well...good luck.

ive been taking ice skating at ohio state this quarter. ive never played hockey but its the ultimate goal and it would be cool to have a group to fart around with. on a side note- were you riding around campus today harb? i saw a ninja 650 tooling around.

you might also see about like an old yamaha fz6/1 or something. those pack a few more pounds on them.

in the $3000 range you could prob get a decent ninja 500 or so. or just find a better deal on an sv. you might look into ninja 650s as well. dont know what their market is exactly, but it sounds right.

welcome to the site. you might try looking for an SV650, ninja 500 or ninja 250. those are all solid bikes at that price for a beginner, with the sv being pretty powerful for an entry bike. i bought my old ninja 250 for like 1600 and it had about as many miles on it as i paid in dollars.

you must be like the tallest dude doing track days. polar opposite of a lot of the skeletons on this site. (jarvismb, brennan, E-money, just to name a few)

well first off, you might get a good deal out of him because its a pain in the ass to deal with people who have liens unless youre a dealership. the only way i would hand the guy money is if A) he has the title or B) you go with him to the people he owes money to and they give you the title. otherwise you can tell him to forget it unless you really just hate money.
