I learned years ago (in a cycle mag) and it has saved my life a saying I pass along to my children "if you ever have an accident it was your fault, no matter who the law says is at fault, you can avoid an accident you drive defensively." All arguments stop when I say "it is your fault for not driving defensively if you crash" Maybe hard to swallow but it may save their life. I try to always ride as though the other drivers (cars and trucks) are really out there to get me or at best could care less about a motorcycle rider. Hope this thought helps save a life because bikes never win against cars and trucks no matter who is legally at fault. Enjoy a safe and happy summer. If it sounds like an old man talking, it is and how do you think I have been riding this many years?
