Ok seriously guys don't get your panties in a bunch. I said I would show up "IF" I get another helmet. The only time I don't wear a helmet is when I ride the 2 miles over to QS&L, and it my choice to do that, just like it is your choice not to ride with me. The helmet I have isn't even scratched, but since it's been down I will be getting another one before going on any rides...

I've been there every year for the last 10 years straight! I don't care what anyone says, Park Ave is still a sweet place to be on superbike wknd even after the cops started being dicks about 2 years ago..Go to the website I put on the first post and check out all of the events going on.

He has brain contusions on his frontal lobe, which controls your bodies reaction's. So basicly he has cussed out every doctor and nurse that are in sight, kinda like terrets... haha

I also have a contact that is first in my phone that says "emergency" with my emergency contacts listed. One of my other friends was in a car accident earlier this year and they couldn't figure out who to call so they just started calling the most recent contacts in his phone. All of Jason's info(wallet and cell phone) were under his seat, and are still there, so in the wallet doesn't help.

I talked to the Sherriff and Morgan county didn't take the report, State Patrol did.. I'm going to see if they know who called 911 tommorow when they call me back.. He def didn't call because he has Nextel and his phone rarely has service even in Columbus!

That bike had 30,000 miles and a nasty ticking noise coming from the bottom end. $100 is more than I would invest back into it!

He actually woke up this morning and I got to talk to him for the first time. He rememebers me going in the ditch, and tightening my rear set at the gas station, but that is it, nothing after Nelsonville. He had no idea why he was in the hospital. Don't they normally ask who you are when you call 911, and try and get more information about it? He has a few fractures in his foot, but with help he walked to the bathroom this morning. Hopefully afetr a couple weeks in a care facilty with rehab, he will get full function of his brain back.

I am 75% in for this. The only thing that would make me have to cancel is if Kaw buys my bike back before then, but I have no official word if it will actually happen so if I have to put a deposit down I can...

I think with a better helmet, he would not have even had any brain injury at all.. I was constantly on him to buy a new one. The only time I don't wear a helmet is the ride to QS&L because I used to live 2 miles away..

Yes, I think he would actually like to see the pictures of the wreck.. And I promise his skill level is up there with ours in that group, but accidents happen... I really had no idea we would be able to ride like we were or I would've had a jacket on too!

I actually have a jacket, but for some reason I didn't wear it. I actually thought that having that many bikes we would be riding really slow and in a large group and it would not be needed... I was definitly wrong!

Did anyone watch IRL at Mid Ohio? Apparently the Acura team was puuting fuel in the car and it spilled all over the fuel guy and burnt him really bad... He is actually in the room beside Jason and the whole Acura team and Honda officials have been there since Saturday... Bad weekend all around! I heard there was another MC life flight out of Hocking Hills ay midnight on Saturday as well...

I just got back from OSU and they have determined that Jason should make a full recovery. They just took the Trach tube out last night and took him off of pain meds to try and get him to wake up. He still has a neck brace on, but only because he's being irretable and won't cooporate with the neuro surgeon.. Hopefully by the end of the day he will be in a downgraded room and moving around. So it's all good news at this point, and once again the helmet saved his life! I promise I'll being wearing mine more often! haha

And yes, I ended up taking a different route to Dairy Queen because when I held up traffic in Nelsonville I got stuck behind traffic and couldn't catch up and got lost. I was completely accidental that I was stopped at Dairy Queen when everyone pulled up. It was my best guess as to where everyone was meeting at. Hell, I thought everyone had already left!

They were suppose to take him to Grant but I guess there were 8 Med Flights all at the same time... Anyhow, the second Cat Scan came back pretty good. He is still in ICU for examination, but looks like it's only bruising on his brain in the front, and there isn't any bleeding yet.. If all goes well he should be released by the end of the week with a broken bone/s in his foot, some rashes and cuts, and one hell of an entire body ache! I'll post with more news tonight as it happens when I get back later tonight. He's a strong dude, and will pull through this, I have faith...
